There won't be sequels, especially in Zack's vision. That's silly and delusional thinking. Plus, Zack already told us everything. We know what his plan was. There's no element of surprise leading up to more films. We already know where everything goes and how it ends.
I say let Zack finish his already compromised version of JL and whatever FX is needed. Release it and finish his vision in graphic novel form.
Flashpoint gonna render Barry's time travel in BvS and the Snyder movies moot.![]()
That is true because with Flashpoint you could have it that Superman didn't kill Zod but managed to send him to the Phantom Zone leading to For Tomorrow. It could also work for Cavill if he wants to do For Tomorrow. Of course the story would be an original and tweaked into a new story but you could have the "vanishing Earth" storyline and when it's found, it reworked history within a new setting and world. Retcons can happen within the For Tomorrow storyline if they want to go that route with a creative twist on Superman's universe within the DCEU.
Upset that Man Of Steel and Superman Returns is not on that list neither its the Ultimate Edition of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Just thought I'd share another interesting development. HBO included Justice League in their initial marketing which does seem strange now for it not to be included in their list of content...
Wait are you talking just as a director or continuing his arc? Cause I see him making films for WB again maybe even a DC movie one day. But as for his arc continuing, outside of a comic, animated thing or at a stretch some sort of sequel live action series thing it ain’t gonna happen. Snyder Cut isn’t gonna be raking him 100s of millions 3 even as a Blu Ray release cause it ain’t getting a wide theatrical release.
No I'm not talking about his arc finishing. Just him directing. I see WB, should Snyder Cut response be positive, handing him maybe some smaller/Elseworlds DC flicks. Or even a series, which would probably serve his storytelling style better.
the man is certainly one of the better people in hollywood. He has it all going for him, his talent loves him, crew loves him, runs a smooth production that finishes on time. Unfortunately the work he wants to make with iconic characters just doesn't resonate with the majority of audiences.Zack seems well liked around Hollywood circles and hes always come off as a team player, the type of guy studios love to work with. Im sure hes still got friends left in WB who would vouch for him for future WB movies.
If it is coming and it looks like it is my biggest worry is the toxic Snyderholics who will feel like they’ve been rewarded despite their bad behaviour. I will always say I think Snyder should have actually done more to shut that type of behaviour down.
