Utter insanity. But I'm definitely watching. I can't wait to watch be a terrible movie, but it will at least be more interesting than the unmemorable **** we got.

Wait what? so you already think it's going to be a terrible movie or am I reading your post wrong?

Looks like Ayer is trying to drum up excitement for his SS cut...
Him trying to ride off the coattails of an actual full-on production upheaval in Snyder's situation, is beyond lame.

I've read all the various details regarding Ayer's cut, it's not some dramatic alteration. And all the other points he keeps bringing up are more like what-if's that were excised in pre-production.

It's more cringe considering he was so game for test screenings and studio cooperation, even going as far as saying director's that don't take part in it aren't taking advantage of those opportunities.

This change in behavior is only because he's been getting ragged on such a **** movie. He should hold that L and learn from it.

I think when this is released we need to organize some sort of Hype watch streaming party where we can watch this together. Who’s down?

Now that sounds dope. No idea how the timezone thing would work though, but whenever this does drop it should feel like some kind of HUGE EVENT. The fans deserve as much.

I think if you thought MOS and BVS were awful and too dark or amazing then expect the same depending which side of the fence you come down on

Really hope this leads to something for Ray more than anyone else honestly. Maybe this could bag him a series.
I think the CGI budget for a series would be too high. Maybe a limited series if JL generated a lot of streaming money?

So would you guys want it to be released as a 4 hour movie at once or a six part miniseries released weekly?

I'm coming out of retirement to say just two things:

1: As a veteran of the Donner Cut era, I damn told you guys we would see this one.

2: Now that it looks like DC has fully embraced the multiverse, if this thing brings the money in... don't rule out that we may see the Snyderverse continued in HBO Max in some shape or form. This is their Mandalorian, guys.
Agreed on all counts. Slightly off topic, but My god the Donner Cut is easily one of the best superhero movies ever. Probably top 10 imo.

Swanick was Martian Manhunter, I mean we knew he dropped hints and off camera drawings etc.. but damn, Snyder had so much to offer, it just didn't all plan out... so what next?? where does this lead?

most likely closure and thats it.

I would say drop at all once, because that's just how I love to binge my shows but dropping it weekly would make more sense as I'm sure that they would want people to keep buzzing and talking about it on a weekly basis.

donner cut may seem dated now, it's still a fine film and set the template for all superhero origin movies that came after it.
still hard to top what chris reeves did with the role too.

Ok there is honestly a suuuuper small chance of this happening but we could possibly get one more film... unlikely. But possible.
