The most interesting thing about this is actually not the design (which is terrific) but the timestamp on the top left corner. It was widely known that the opening of the Snyder Cut was "epic" and it was assumed that it was a longer version of the history lesson - this shows that this takes place an hour into the movie, and this is part of the history lesson in which he attacks Themyscira. If this is the case, what the heck is that "epic" opening for the Snyder Cut?

Thats not the history lesson, that scene is the attack on Themyscrya when he gets the first motherbox. I just checked and originally that scene happens at around 22 minutes in the Theatrical cut.
I know which one would scare me more.

Another standout in the new screenshot is the coloring, so good
Pretty sure that this was the original opening to Snyder's film.

I hope the animation quality is also greatly improved. The facial animations of Steppenwolf in the theatrical cut were at times abysmal as were his movement animations. Furthermore, Steppenwolf seemed completely weightless in many scenes.

Pick up from Reddit mate.
The timecode means 1 minute 30 second 5 frame so this is the coming trailer, not the movie.
