Don't think Bale is still attached but the man just shot a movie similar to this type of movie in 'Hostiles' this year, so I doubt he'd want to do the same movie again.

Yep. I think this was suppose to be Zack's next after Watchmen. Bale was the photographer and Penn the soldier.

I think both were attached back when Oplev was directing and both their names weren't mentioned again with the project when Oplev dropped.

It’s gonna be better than Saving Private Ryan, but the Steven Spielberg industrial complex will never allow you to believe it.

I actually do wish Snyder well (within reason), I just can’t abide that fanbase getting anything they can brag about, bc we’ve already seen how much bragging they can do with absolutely nothing.

Obviously a rocky start with that writer, but I think getting out of the fantasy world will do Snyder some good.

By now, THAT Fanbase is disconnected from Snyder and snyderfans so much.
They are their own thing and nothing Snyder does outside of DC interests these people.
So they dont really care how this movie does, just as they didnt care about Rebel Moon.
