haha! No you got that backwards buddy, its you with the flawed thinking. I'm telling you and those who think like you that it shouldn't matter. Changing things is an ARTISTIC liberty. It's the exact same thing. They do it for comics and they do it for movies. Both tell stories with visuals, one medium has motion and the other doesn't. It doesn't matter if there wasn't a version of Domino like this in the comics previously cuz This version exists now. hahaha!
It would be the exact same thing if Nick Fury wasn't specifically made to look like Sam Jackson in the comics. But he was and the movies then copied that exact look because Marvel already knew they wanted SJ for the role. So no, it's not the same thing, not at all.
Whether it's artistic liberty or not is totally irrelevant. What matters is the quality of the look, if people buy the look, if people instantly recognize the character. You are lying your balls off if you say you instantly recognize her and or prefer this look over her comic appearance. Sure Zazie is hot and sexy and whatever but i certainly don't believe that most people prefer this look.
