Coolioso.
Nintendo's new controller is, of course, a perfect fit for the fishing option in the game. Gamers merely hold down the Wii-mote's A button, pull the pointer back and then cast it forward as they would if they were really out there doing it. Wide, exaggerated gestures will work just fine, but players who would prefer minimal movements can choose simple flicks of the wrist to do the same thing. The Wii-mote is indiscriminate in the way that it processes motion. The controller rumbles to let players know that they've cast a line. Bigger and faster motions will cause the line to travel farther and vice versa.

Don't particularly like this... but not really anything I can say, because the trailers alone kinda previewed a "T" taste. I especially don't like all the teeny-boppers coming online in different forums and saying things like 'yes, now I can finally like this game'Ugh.
Hope it doesn't mean they're trying to do too much with Zelda. Then again, I have to remember games like NBA Street(?) and NFS consistantly get T ratings.

Spidey-Bat said:A few days ago, GameStop called about my reservation for Twilight Princess. I had reserved it for Gamecube back in January when it was still expected to come out in the Summer. I called them back asking if I could switch my reservation over to the Wii version. They said they have Wii games able to be reserved, but Twilight Princess is not one of them. They said the soonest they'd know about when they'll take preorders is a day or 2 before.
I hope this doesnt become a regular thing with the Zelda franchise. While I get it with this game they were trying to for a dark, immerseful (is that a word?) and mature world, so Im ok with it here I guess. But E is the way to go with Zelda games. OoT was pretty mature in its look and Majora's Mask was pretty dark, so its not like it cant be done without a T rating. I consider Zelda to be like Chronicles of Narnia or something, its a deep and intricate thing but is still open to everyoneKipobe said:![]()

Meh. The Zelda franchise is big enough to have a variety of tones and atmosperes. I certainly hope future Zelda games do something different each time.VaderRISE said:Granted, I think every "console" Zelda should follow in TP's footsteps, and leave the cel-shaded one's on the DS.
I was going to play with my left hand before, not because im left-handed, but because i care that much. Look like Nintendo took the tradition option right out my handKipobe said:Also, IGN reviewed the controller for Wii with Zelda, and they say it's a smashing success and fits the physical emotion of the player perfectly. If they want to act theatrical, it'll respond well... if they want to play nonchalant, it will again respond accordingly.
Also, Link will only be right-handed in the Wii version. He'll only be left-handed in the GCN version... so Link's sword hand might change now. GC's launch is 3 weeks after Wii, but it doesn't matter to me anymore, because I'm convinced that it's gonna be Wii-only for me.
