Zod could return of the dead?

if Zod is able to come back, I would do it as there was a copy of him made in the Phantom Zone, since to go into the Zone they had a certain method of going in and out, obviously the out for them was done differently (Krypton blew up, not exactly standard protocol lol). So with the Zone opening up, say one (or 2) of those ice container that froze them before the Councilor sent them to the PZ get shot out and its left alone for some un-known time, then in say MOS 3 someone decides to thaw it out and ta da, Zod is back....only he has no memories of the 33 years (and his obvious death) that the other Zod lived through.......maybe make this version have the "KNEEL BEFORE ZOD" line in some way lol
