Could the MCU Avengers stop a MOS Krypronian invasion?

So I'm curious as to what people think on this one. Could MCU earth, with the Avengers as their champions, stop a MOS Kryptonian invasion from Zod and co? And if u want, we could pose the opposite question just for fun, could a MOS earth with Supes as it's champion, stop a Chitari invasion?

No responses? Darn. Well, I'll state my opinion.

I think the Avengers would stand a good chance of stopping the terraforming machine. Superman was getting manhandled by that machine only because of the Kryptonian atmosphere it created within the general area.

However, even if the Avengers could save earth from being terraformed, I think once Zod and company catch up with them, they're toast.

Then the Council or whatever would shoot a nuke at them, which I dont quite see the Kryptonians surviving that. End of battle.

Hulk and Thor could have the strength to resist the World Engine. But Hawkman, Black Widow and Iron Man are going to be screwed against Yellow Sun powered Kryptonians (mainly due to speed and strength).

Technically, the Joker killed himself, so that his "murder" at the hands of Batman would push Yindel and the department over the edge. Having said that, Batman did not cause severe damage to his neck, but, did not kill him; for the Joker, it was more than enough. He caused Batman to break his one rule (as I write this post, in my mind, I hear Emerson's chilling reading of said line and it chills me.)

Depends on which universe we're in because they don't operate by the same exact rules. In MCU Earth, yes Avengers stop the Kryptonians. They wouldn't stand a chance on MoS earth though. Same with Superman stopping the Chituari. Yes on his earth, no on Avengers Earth.

Superman can't stop Chitauris on Avengers' Earth...? He's way too versatile to not stop those purposeless aliens in Avengers' World.

Avengers (Thor and Hulk working together) could probably take out the Black Zero, but none of them are fast enough to take out the World Engine in time.

Zod would take out all the Avengers except for Hulk. Hulk he would have a lot of trouble with, but ultimately defeat.

Superman (from Man of Steel) would take out the Chitauri pretty easily. It would be like Hulk punching and disabling that leviathan x10 because Superman also had the speed to get to all of the leviathans quicker than any Avenger, and also has the heat-vision to disable and/or hurt them.

Superman would also kick Loki's ass quicker than even Hulk did.

They could with the aid of significant plot devices...
Superman level threats are beyond the capacity of the Avengers as far as being able to stop them with physicality...Hulk would get tossed around pretty well, not necessarily killed but he wouldnt go beyond being a nuisance at best...

How did the comics handle Superman in JLA vs Avengers??

Actually Mjolnir is magic based, I suppose with enough lightning they might be able to mess up the Kryptonians super hair and give them all bad perms..

Stealth would be extremely difficult though, they have anti-gravity measures, so anything directed towards the Engine would just be moved elsewhere, that's why we saw USA Military missiles hitting Metropolis (lol) instead of the Engine itself. None have the strength to fight against the gravity beam (except if you team up Thor and Hulk to take down the Indian Ocean Engine, I call BS on Thor not having speed...the man can instantaneously shift from one location to the other...).

As for Iron Man, I can't see anything that he has that would be effective against the Kryptonians.

Yea with the MCU's current power levels I doubt the Kryptonians(there were like 10 right) would have all that much trouble.

But at the very least we know cap would be running around taking care of civilians.
That's a big win around here.

The Avengers had trouble with Loki and his army. Basically, Zod would take em all out but yes, he would have a hard time with Hulk. He would still defeat him in the end though.

Superman on the other hand would take out Loki and his army by himself.

If he can't close the portal then there's no way to win. I'm not sure he'd know how.

True, idk that Supes would know how to shut down the portal. Maybe Superman could do it with the help of Professor Hamilton, he seems to be about equal to Dr. Selvig. And if Loki ended up mind controling Hamilton like he did Selvig, Superman could pimp smack him ever so gently to snap him back to normal and get the info needed to close the portal.

Don't know about the Avengers' chances with the Kryptonian army, but I think they'd at least take the time to save civilians and try not to cause an almost exaggerated amount of damage.
