Zombieland Is Open For Business.

Nooooo...not really. Venom does not need his own movie.

Agreed. Why should it even happen? It'll just overexpose him more into an already overexposed character.

Neither do I. It's just a sciprting process that will die away. I hope.

But who knows, if this film is a success that could encourage Sony to go further into it.

I suspect with the recent Venom arcs they're going to do it like that, where the symbiote maybe jumps from person to person a la The Mask.

The scripts already finished, Stan Lee's cameo is confirmed (I think, sure i read it somewhere) it's happening it seems, like it or not. I personally am indifferent, it will be awesome visually. But Venom is a pretty shallow character and without Spidey I dunno if it will be any good.

I have no idea how it will work. And I believe they turned in the second draft.

Will he work for the government like in the comics? He just really works as a bad guy to me. I can't see a symbiote taking over him and then working for the government. It doesn't sit well with me.

Zombieland business is a booming. It made 9 and half million on Friday alone. It has maybe the chance of maybe making 30 million, that be cool.

The studio is hoping for an opening in the low 20's in terms of millions.

I finally saw it and thought it was hilarious . Woody Harrelson is great as always , I love how they introduced the girls , The cameo scene is hilarious , and i love Emma Stone now.
I didn't care for the Eisenberg kid that much but he suited the role . It's a fun movie.

Saw it again, took the younger brother this morning, just as good the second time.

^ cool im also taking my little bro in a few hours

These guy writng venom sounds good but somebody mentioned the possibility of the symbiote hopping around to different hosts. I really hope they don't go that route.

Also dying to read that script , we need plot details.

i do agree venom will be extremely hard to work without spidey. but a part of me wants to see a dark solid 15 to 18 because it's the only way i'll see carnage on the screen.

he should not be in a spider-man film

I liked in Spider-man 3 when they show the news report and Venom is wreaking havok . I'm assuming it will be pg-13 but I hope they push the envelope.

saw the movie it was cool i give it 7.5/10 Woody Harrelson and Bill Murray were the best

I saw it today and it blew me away, It was hilarious! The Bill Murray cameo was awesome as well. Oh and Emma Stone is gorgeous.

and that Eisenberg fellow is the American Michael Cera.

Saw it tonight, pretty decent. I love woody now. Im a fan like he was to murray :hehe:

A lot of awesome zombie kills. Emma Stone is so hot

I wonder if Woody chose Bill Murray as the cameo. They were both hilarious in Kingpin. Maybe they've been friends ever since.

Patrick Swayze i think was the one who was suppose to have BM part. Woody best pall in real life is Owen Wilson, dudes are at Hawaii 24/7 having fun and they go skinny dipping too lol

I live in Columbus, Ohio. So I kept hoping they would get there.

Alas.

I won't call it hit and miss. It's consistently entertaining, if not consistently clever. Very funny, if somewhat predictable. Really predictable, actually. You can see pretty much everything that happens coming a mile away. They broadcast what they were going to do with the celeb cameo a bit too much, though that was one of the better elements of the movie, if a bit hard to swallow. Action is stuff we've seen before. Great production values. Thought the romantic moment, forced and cliche as it was, worked pretty well. The final act...stumbles a bit, but regains its footing. Overall though, dedicated performances and good chemistry make a pretty average script work. Worth seeing if you have any interest in zombies or twinkies.

8/10

I might have run into you for all I know.

I might put it over Shaun of the Dead. I really liked this movie. Woody was the man and the whole climax was a blast.
