🇬🇧 Discussion: UK Politics

Currently don't have sound so can someone tell me if what the lady says Sally said in this clip is true or not? If so I am truly beyond words, new low even for the Conservatives.

Maybe someone will nuke the fridge while Johnson is inside.

For the sake of our civil rights, the NHS and an end to austerity and the need for food banks, I'm hoping that the country sees sense today.

Huzzah. Finally this will end. And it will end with the UK leaving the EU and i can't wait for those tory liars from that stupid island to leave. Feel a little sorry for the Scottish. But perhaps they can manage to leave the UK now.

More signs that Trump could win in a landslide in the US next year.

Define landslide. He didn't exactly win a landslide last time. We will see if Corbyn gets the hint.

Labour won't get anywhere with Corbyn and Abbott.

So the UK essentially hate Corbyn more than Boris?

So the NHS will slowly turn into our healthcare system? I feel so sorry for you guys.

What is it with the global left being incapable of fielding decent candidates? Galloping around on the moral high horse is great and all but actually finding candidates people want to vote for might be something to look into one day.

The global left are arrogant and reckless. This was the most predictable election result since I started voting and the first time I didn’t watch the results live as there was no doubt as to what would happen.

They’re completely high on “being better than the right” in terms of progress on social issues they’ve forgotten they actually need to show up and do a proper ****ing job. How on earth anyone thought a tepid weasel like Corbyn was the horse to bet on is an absolute mystery to me.

Globally this is unfortunate because it’s probably a weathervane for the US at this point. Hopefully the democrats take note and realize this ****ery of theirs needs to stop and they need to unify behind an actual candidate people can invest in and not some corporate droid.

I thought this would have been obvious but there is no unity. People are joining the race last minute. Everyone seems to be putting themselves before the interest of party and country and the result is a mess. There was plenty of time for this party to get their act together and realise that this election was about something bigger and that they needed to work together from the off to give themselves the best possible chance.

Yeah it honestly feels like a phoned in punt from Labour. Corbyn was a **** guy to back and they thought just because BoJo was the guy they were running against they didn’t need to take it seriously.

Time for the left to wake the **** up and realize if they don’t revamp their approach they’re going to keep losing elections and all their moral proselytizing isn’t going to be worth a damn.
