Yeah, 300k is a big number. But the main question is what is he equipping them with? They've had logistical issues already. How is he going to supply a larger army on the march?
I was wondering this myself. I don't see how this can succeed.

Yeah but they've been emptying the jails to use the prisoners as conscripts so they might as well go for it.

Very difficult for those who are totally against Putin's regime. They need to be out in massive numbers or they will get picked off and made an example of.
 

I remember a lot of generals having "accidents" early on. I expect that to continue.
