Damage control. They're being called out by everyone. Announcers, former players/coaches and the media. It wouldn't be an issue if they just called the games right down the middle. How many no call false starts has Jawaan Taylor had this season? The no call pass interference during the Falcons game. Lots of phantom calls in the 4th quarter in games. I could go on.

If Mahomes had gone for those 4th and inches against the Bills and was as close as Allen was , he gets those 1st downs 100% of the time.

This all has to do with the International Superstar they have sitting up in the box every Chiefs game. She brings in an international audience and that's why they're getting preferable treatment.
