Superman Returns 11 Clips Posted on IESB!

editing together ever clip/tvspot/trailer i have here to reconstruct parts of the film. Sort of a 12 minute preview that i'll premiere here.

That's how much I've calculated we've seen of the film thus far. About 12 to 15 minutes worth is what I have in total.

oh wow...

im definitely looking forward to this. :)

that way I can delete all the video clips that I have

Oh crap !!! I just crapped myself !!

The "Lois Come With Me" clip is awesome . There's a real chemistry between Bosworth and Routh . Its just beautiful .

All these clips are awesome . I especially love the part at the end of the "The Fax" clip where there's that extended footage of Superman flying up the elevator shaft and through the top of the building creating a sonic boom just before he reaches the clouds . AWESOME STUFF .

By the way i'm newbie so hello to all :D

welcome to the boards :supes:

If he said that, why does he go on? Why make more movies? Its stupid that an artist consider what he did in the past better than his next work. As an artist, i`m always trying to improve myself.
Where do you get the impression that Spielberg doesn't think he can top his older movies? I don't think he looks at it from a qualitative view but rather that he doesn't want to tackle those types of movies any longer.

And in a way, he IS improving himself. For a large part of his career, Spielberg has embodied the Hollywood blockbuster director. He didn't really "say" anything in his movies but rather told sentimental tales. He excelled at this but a lot of people said that he was soft and would not be able to tackle darker material. He's known grown on the types of themes he does and is able to do it without tugging on your heart strings as he is so adept at doing in his older films. I, for one, am happy Spielberg has decided to go this route.

Interesting, thank you, that puts a different light on the scene which plays badly in that clip IMO,is that from the book or have you seen the film ?

Man there are alot of newbs the last time I was here.

I've hovered for years. I even write for this site (SSH) I just got tired of all the haters and wanted to do some figurative "b!tch slaping."

Im shocked that the best part of the clips was Jason walking around the planet offices with the bin on his head... Funny as all hell

Looks like He just might be a good character after all.

he just wants to make different stuff. Even musicians get tired of doing the same style of music. That is why his last fims have been darker. That is why they have been shot in the non spielbergian way. He just wants to grow as an artist and a storyteller.

OMFG these are such a tease! That 'Were You in Love with Him' - what was the rest of the conversation?!

I can't wait till the 28th - someone with the novelization has to tell me how that part ends RIGHT NOW!!!

My computer is outta sound right now, can anyone comment on the dialogue and music of the clips?

Tis FINISHED!!! *falls on floor* this took way more work than expected and ended up being 17mins long. I was off by 2... lol. Well here it is. Everything I could find is in there arranged in a way it might be in the movie to some extent. well.. I missed the one with that ben hubbard guy but just pretend it's there, ok.

Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IK34HXBj2g8

Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQPicqc8XBo

Routh isn't bad, ultimate. I'm not totally blown away but I'm not vomiting either.

Bosworth works. I'm liking how jimmy sounds. All the rest is just marvelous. The music I'd say works well too. Lex listens to opera like he does on smallville. nice touch, singer. I always enjoyed opera lex... is that what he does, listen to opera? I don't remember that from stm.

These clips are the worst thing that could happen to me...I was doing ok, being calm and waiting for the 27th...Now I am freaking out and 12 days cannot go by fast enough! Does that make me a freak?? :(

For any English fans out there we're gonna crush your team today in the World Cup.

The dialogue was good,no cheesy lines or wooden acting,it had a nice flow to it IMO
the music is a decent score it would seem with some nice bursts of the classic theme
