Why is Maury out to get people caught up? Ratings? Trickery? Just for giggles? Please, tell us all...cause I had no idea the old man was still on wasting a time slot.

it just seems like his shows are nothing more than dna test to show whether someone is or is not the father of the given child. I guess people still get a kick out of it, its almost as bad as a Power Rangers show, because each Maury show follows the same premise. He'll bring people onto the show that are in conflict to the point where talking was no longer an option (possibly prior to them getting on the show) and then expects them to talk to each other once they cross paths on the show.
