I am interested in where Martz will end up.
Dude's a pimpMatt Leinart is chillin'...holding a clipboard and a headset and banging ASU girls....
I have couple bets with some friends of mine. If everythigng goes my way, I get 100 bucks. woo!I think I may place money on this weekend's games for the first time ever.
I think Arizona +4 and under 24 in the Steelers/Ravens games are as close to locks as you will ever get in professional sports.
Indeed. And for ESPN to cry over the fact that the Cowboys are not in the superbowl and this isn't a Manning/Manning SuperbowlI hate the extra week off before the Super Bowl. It's just time for more media hyperbole.![]()
I think the Ratings will be high. If it's a Cards/Ravens Game you really have no idea who'll win. Powerful Offense vs Powerful Defense. Would be a great game an should get Ratings.Go Cards and Ravens!
May the real unpopular Super Bowl ratings begin!

Ratings would be dog ****...

lol Philly hasn't looked impressive? There Defense has been great.I don't think anyone is advocating a long term deal for Warner, but I think not resigning him would simply be a bonehead move for the franchise - even if Warner is not your future, he is your present and your present is hosting an NFC Championship game which should be the goal of the ball club.
I think the hype for the Eagles will doom them. The Eagles thrive in the underdog role, but they fumble and fail as the pack leaders. McNabb has shown this his entire career, the Eagles have shown this in their modern history.
On Sunday night I was worried that everyone would jump in the Arizona bandwagon after they have defeated two very good teams and Philadelphia has not looked impressive in their post season match ups - I feared the Cardinals would get cocky and the Eagles would be wanting respect. I am thrilled to see it is exactly the opposite.
The weeks between Championship Sunday and the Superbowl are snooze fests... what storyline will they play up if Mcnabb doesn't get in there??? Warner a 1st ballot??? Yeah that will be a ratings catcher.... I guess the Ravens would make for a pretty interesting media week... but Pittsburg would be boring as hell... especially with Tomlin in there and Joey Porter no longer there. There would be little hype if either of those matchups play out.
I think the Pro Bowl going the week before will help a little. Play it on a Monday Night... prime time. Give the players the weekend and actually take them game seriously... for those participating. Other than that, its a circus regardless. The pathetic things the media does to get by those weeks... it makes me sad.

No, Philly hasn't looked impressive. Eli Manning didn't play well and the Giants haven't had a big play threat since Harris Smith shot himself. Minnesota is a one dimension offense.
In contrast I think Arizona has been the most impressive team of the playoffs. Going into the Atlanta game no one expected them to win, what did they do? They showed a renewed interest in the running game and their D stepped up. Then no one thought they would beat Carolina - and they destroyed them.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow. This whole post-season you've been hearing Ravens and the media saying how they believe they can be the 2005 Pittsburgh Steelers. Well now its time to put up or shut up. They gotta beat the Steelers to be them. Should be fun to watch.
God forbid a team is just trying to be themselves. So far, I have heard people say:
- the Ravens are trying to be like the 2005 Steelers
- the Cardinals are trying to be like the 2006 Colts
- the Eagles are trying to be like the 2007 Giants
The Steelers are the only team I have yet to hear anyone say is following the path of a previous team.

God forbid a team is just trying to be themselves.![]()

Can't have that.Can't have that.
So who does everyone think is the best QB of the 2004 draft? This was being discussed on both Fox and CBS last week as all three of them were playing. Is it Big Ben, Philip Rivers or Eli Manning. While Rivers and Manning have the better stats, I gotta give it to Ben. You can't argue with success and win percentage.
Says the fan who called for his release a month back... I like the consistency...
I think Rivers is far and away the best of that bunch. If I am A.J SMith I make him the highest paid player in the league whenever extension time comes up.

I called for his release because he is over paid. Best of his draft class or not, he makes Brady and Peyton Manning numbers which is a big part of the team salary but has neither Brady and Manning's win percentage or stats.
. But I'll do you and myself a favor and I'll stop busting your balls on that quote. I'll admit it's kind of old. I just could not believe a Steeler fan could say something like that.Roethlisberger is by far better than Manning.
Eli right?
