Brown got away with one.

Yeah, he did. Never-the-less...that first defensive holding call was ****. That is the nature of professional football. Sometimes you get a bad call against you. Some times you get one in your favor. Just gotta suck it up and take it.

I still think that the Super Bowl will come down to a referee screw up.

thats not suprising since its going to be the same officials will who did the Ravens Titans game.

Looks like the Iggles are sleepwalking through this game.

Excellent call on that screen right there. You need stuff like that against Johnson's blitz.

That toss to Pope was a great call. Everyone in the world thought it was going to be a swing-out to the left.

Give a lot of credit to Warner and the Cardinals defense. Their defense may be making mistakes, but they are holding when it counts. And Warner...he is showing tremendous composure in light of this Philly defense.

the NFL front office is probably crapping themselves with the possibility of Arizona in the SB.....

So, that's Fitzgerald guy is pretty good, huh?

Sheldon Brown was just outclassed there.

PEREIRA RETIRING

Posted by Mike Florio on January 18, 2009, 2:20 p.m.
Jay Glazer of FOX reports that NFL V.P. of officiating Mike Pereira informed Commissioner Roger Goodell earlier in the season that Pereira is retiring.
Per Glazer, Pereira will spend one more year on the job to assist the transition.
Pereira has held the position since 2001. Glazer reports that the decision is not the result of the perception and/or reality of increased officiating blunders in 2008.
Pereira has been extremely visible and accessible, explaining NFL rules and their application via NFL Network and various radio appearances. Though there have been hints of a hard-core company man in some of his explanations, he has been willing to admit officiating mistakes from time to time.
It’s easy to complain about the folks who currently hold a high-profile job that naturally attracts scrutiny and criticism, but the NFL in our view will be hard pressed to find someone better than Pereira.
Our only hope is that Pereira’s successor isn’t Ed Hochuli. Though he’s capable, he’s more long winded than an alligator with gas.

Eagles just aren't capitalizing on offense....couple that with Samuel who is noticeably hurting.

Jim Johnson has been taken back out to the woodshed... damn... you gotto love these Trashgles choking like this... hopefully its a blowout...

Come on Donnie, no excuses. The Eagles are catching a lot of breaks and the Arizona D is still shutting them down. Arizona is playing like the better team today, so far. That said. There is a lot of football to be played.

Its not reviewable? WTF!?! Since when is spot of the ball not reviewable?!? I expect an NFL apology.
