What you think a 5 game suspension in not harsh enough for selling your own stuff hmmmm...
lol harsh dude really for selling their on stuff come on...then what the NCAA should do is vacate the bowl for Ohio State and do what they did to USC this season....no BCS bowl game next season

sure but 5 games.....they didnt shoot anyone, sell drugs, beat-up thier girlfriends....2-3 games at most. I bet if this was anybody else other than OSU ppl would think 5 games is harsh.it's against NCAA rules, you break the rules, you should get punished
I cant believe you are comparing what Reggie did with some freshmen selling their own stuff...dude it is sour grapes for you...give me a break. How about taking away their scholarships? Hey, Reggie took some money and USC not only is forced to miss 2 bowl games but also have about 30 scholarships taken away; don't tell me that Ohio State's punishment is that weak suspension for next season's games.
Btw, if Cam Newton ultimately found guilty of his father's backroom deals for his enrollment, I wonder what NCAA will do? They better be consistent with their new fondness for ridiculous punishments.
They'll do the same as they did to Reggie Bush.
I think SEC won four the last five national championships or something. It's rather ridiculous.
