I wanna see Cutler get creamed tonight. So bad a Chicago Donut store makes a Donut Named after his sorry O-Line. Detroit 34-17.

7 sacks, 10 hits, 6 QB hurries, 2 TD's, 3 INT's, 250 yards passing. Post game he throws his O-line under the bus and walks out.

Cartman voice: Screw you guys, I'm goin' home.

Gentlemen, please respect the Cardiac Cats.

Carolina isn't just a place where end up, and neither is Tennessee. Since first appearing in the 1995 NFL season, the Panthers have made four playoff appearances, won two division titles and made a Superbowl debut.

Carolina in 2003 and 2008, broke the record for most comeback wins in a regular season.

As for the defense, although it has declined over the years, Carolina made it's presence felt in regards to punishing any offense. At the time, any team that relied on their running game to set up the passing game (which was 70% of the league) feared to face Carolina's D. For instance, in 2003, we dominated and crushed the defending champs' (Tampa Bay) running attack... twice.

Carolina might be in a rebuilding phase but every team goes through the same process.

Anyone remember when the Steelers and Ravens D had trouble stopping the run? I do, and it wasn't that long ago either.

really looking forward to seeing the Lions on tv for the first time this year

are you a panthers fan too?

I wonder how many people realize Their logo is a SC on top of NC. And they played in SC in 95...

Yep. And I've stuck with them through all the **** seasons (along with the Chargers).

1-15 team: talent, lost close games. Should had been at least 6-10 that year.

2-14 team:....my brain hurts. The 1-15 team could beat them. 2-14 had a good defense, but bad coaches and no o-line.

As much as I dislike the line, at least they are getting run game going. Should lead to wins soon.

The Panthers this year remind me a lot of the Lions last year. Extremely competitive, but just can't find a way to win. All of Carolina's losses are by 7 points or less.

6 of Detroit's losses last year were by 5 points or less. This year they're finding ways to win. I expect Carolina to do the same next year.

welcome to the pack

Thanks, it's :awesome: to know that I'm not alone. Here's to the pack

That's what I'm thinking as well. The Panthers are making things interesting, even on losing terms. Our roster is filled with youth and inexperience (and injuries) but they'll learn and improve.

Rivera is a craftsman when coming to D, so I know it's only a matter of time before our D becomes terrifying again.

You're still not as hardcore as Homer.

:funny:

Don't tempt me. :cwink:

Somewhat agree. Our defense has always been talented and vicious but it's also been plagued by injuries -- which irritates me.

Mike Minter, Ricky Manning Jr, Will Witherspoon, Mike Rucker, Brentson Buckner, Terry Cousin, etc. Our roster has never been filled with big names, but just like the Steelers, these unknown and/or rejected players from other teams get the job done.
