Could switching to Geico save you 15% on car insurance?

Does having coffee with Tony Dungy mean you've complied with the Rooney Rule?

You know, I think I actually agree with enterthemooreness on this one. Instead of putting great players on the Madden cover and thus cursing them with injury or poor performance, they should put sh**ty players on the cover and see if it magically turns them into competent ones. They could also try putting injury-prone players on the cover to see if it heals them, and overrated players on the cover to see if they get exposed for the average joes that they truly are (this last one has proven true with the Peyton Hillis situation).

Future Madden hopefuls:

Matt Moore (turns him into a good player)
Daniel Sepulveda (manages to play consecutive seasons without going on IR)
Derek Anderson (completes more than 10% of his passes)
Tim Tebow (wins against a team that doesn't have a 0-7 record)
Rex Grossman (never throws a pick again)
Casey Matthews (grows 6 inches and becomes his brother)
JaMarcus Russell (sorry, this one is beyond Madden's help)

JaMarcus Russell (sees how big a blimp he's become from his picture on the cover, develops an eating disorder, loses 50 lbs, still sucks...)

I couldn't care less about the appearances of it, I'm talking in terms of the actual nitty-gritty of the contract negotiations.

Having a father that understands the ins and outs of the National Football League, that has played in the National Football League and has worked back office in a professional football organisation doesn't help Luck at all? Seriously?
That's what a football agent does. I guess he potentially has one for free though. How does Oliver know the ins and outs of the NFL since the the time he's played? What has he done in the NFL since the mid eighties other than be a player?

He's been more involved in football than Archie Manning has been in the same time period.

yes it does:o

Yeah, BRO,...all u gotta do is ask "So, um, coaching. Your thoughts?" Towards end of the thing.

Also, it's Sunday so time for the 1st edition of ETMadzone NFL Picks!!!

Miami over KC
...

And that's all I care about. Wait? Pats face CowGirls?

Pats 48-2 over Girls. Brady steps out of bounds for giggles for 2 points...

True, just not the NFL. NFL Europe was the closest thing apparently. But I admit he probably is qualified to help his son make a decision in terms of how to handle the process. I don't think this gives Luck some kind of upper hand if he pulls a stunt like John Elway or Eli Manning did though.

So if they start putting Owners faces on there, will the whole team collaspe? Ex:
If Kraft face was on the game or S.I. cover....would the Patriots dynasty end?

I was just reading on NFL.com how Vontae Davis & Brandon Marshall almost got into a fight at practice & Davis did not go to the game today. Seriously they have other things to worry about & players are going at it against each other on the same team. That team is falling apart long before the fourth quarter today

Are they reporting this as something new? This happens almost every week with a different corner.

I guess its news because its Marshall the one that started the fight & Davis is the one that was forced to stay home & they still let Marshall play. I guess they like seeing Marshall drop balls. But both should have stayed home

This is reported every week because apparently Brandon Marshall likes his corners to go hard in practice and when they don't he gets angry. I hear about this every week, this is nothing new. As for Davis staying home because of it, I kind of doubt it though, it's not like we're going to miss him terribly.

Brandon, less fighting in practice more catching drills.

I'm looking forward to the Giants / Patriots game the most in the slate of early games.

Let's go 49ers! Best team in the NFC not named Packers!!! Lol

LOL, no.

Looking for the Steelers to extract some serious revenge on the Ravens tonight. In the meantime just watched Sanchez toss an interception into the endzone as if he were throwing it right to the Bills player. LOVE IT! :woot:
