The worst part is the idiots on NFLN and ESPN are going to be gushing over his ass all week over this sh**. And to make matters worse, it was a Thursday game, so they have a few extra days to knobslobber over him even more.
Andrew Siciliano: Well it was unorthodox, but you know Tim Tebow. He always FINDS A WAY TO WIN. What do you think, Kurt? Will he last in the NFL, long-term?
Kurt Warner: Well, you know, I could come on here and dissect the play of Tim Tebow and point out everything he does wrong like I do on a weekly basis with 15 other quarterbacks who are much more talented than him, BUT THERE'S NO POINT BECAUSE THE KID KNOWS HOW TO WIN GAMES. Sure, Denver had to drive a DeLorean back to the early 1950s and steal Paul Brown's playbook so that they could perfect the "Never Throw the Ball Under Penalty of Death" offense, but it seems to be working out for them, and I'm buying in.
Andrew Siciliano: You do touch on an interesting point there, though. The Broncos have had to retool their offense to suit Tebow. Is that the right approach? Charles, since you tend to get overly excited about everything for no reason, what do you think?
Charles Davis: (grinning ear to ear with eyes as wide as dinner plates) Hey, I've believed in Tebow all the way back to the NFL Draft. You guys laughed at me when I said he'd be taken in the first round and who was right then? And then no one believed he'd ever win a game except me... again, who was right? See, I always knew he'd be a successful NFL quarterback as long as they never gave him the option to play like an NFL quarterback. Reverses, direct snaps, hand-offs and just letting him run the ball until someone blows his knee out... that's how you win with Tim Tebow, and they ARE winning. They'll CONTINUE to win. They're going to win a Lombardi. Mark my words.
Andrew Siciliano: So do you think that other teams should try this approach then? Should teams do all that they can to keep their quarterback from ever throwing the ball?
Charles Davis: Well, the Jets have tried that approach too...
