I don't have any issues with Tebow as a person... I know sweet FA about him as a person. But skillwise, he's easily the worst QB currently starting in the NFL.

I like Tebow. I just don't like his hardcore fans.

I'm not religious but it is weird to me that he gets so much hate because of his beliefs.
I think most of the hate he gets is due to his play on the field and how limited of a quarterback he's going to potentially be. Like Vince Young was. If anyone is hating him because of his religious beliefs, then they are idiots. Tebow comes off as a genuinely good person.

I'm hearing a lot of Vince Young comparisons... but let's be serious. Tebow is considerably more limited than even Vince Young was.

You know, based on the way the media acted this morning, I would have never guessed that Tebow went 9 for 20 with only about 100 passing yards! The kid just can't throw and if you can't throw you can't play quarterback in the NFL. It is really that simple. Like Vince Young before him, once defensive coordinators start to get a read on him, that'll be it. Now if he'd quit being so damn stubborn and agree to play fullback, he'd be going to Hawaii.
You should listen to ESPN radio. They're definitely not as PC as the guys on television. Especially folks like Colin Cowherd.

Maybe. It's hard to imagine a guy who lost his starting job to Derek Anderson being effective, but you never know. Still, maybe it is a system thing. Guess we'll find out.
If I remember correctly, fans in Arizona were clamoring for Leinart over Anderson before he got benched in favor of Anderson by Ken Whisenhunt...who may not really be a good judge of talent when it comes to quarterbacks anyways. Kubiak is.

Most people dislike Tebow because of his play and the hype he gets, but some do seem to have a problem with his beliefs.

I don't know how anyone can be worse than Tarvaris Jackson, who I consider to be The Channing Tatum of NFL Quarterbacks.

Oh yeah, he definitely is a weak QB. Good runner though.

I want to see Denver in the playoffs. Just to stick it to the Haters. But no, seriously, he needs to improve passing in the offseason. But AFC West is so .500 Tebow with option offense could get them in this year and probably in playoffs next year.

ETMadzone picks.

Buffalo at Miami: Moore and Bush will continue to lead Fins. 23-17 Fins.

Carolina at Detroit. Shoot out time. I'll be DVRing this to see Miami live. 35-30 Panthers.

Dallas and Redskins: Rex Grossman will make Romo look like a silly Billy. 20-10 Skins.

KC at NE: the FCC should not let this game air, cause it's gonna be a bloodbath. 65-9 Pats. Okay, maybe a stretch...actual pick 45-13. Pats.

You would think it would be easy to beat Denver. I mean all you really have to do is defend the run.

yet teams can't do it

I am of the opinion that any offensive system can operate if you have the right personnel....are the Broncos running an offensive system that hasn't been seen since the 70s?

yes they are

the question should be...HOW do they make it work

did anyone see that last drive last night??

from a purely statistical standpoint, their wins make no damn sense

Clearly Tim Tebow made a deal with Toby & he has to give up his first born son for the wins. It makes perfect sense

he made a deal with Rumplestiltskin??.....that crazy bastard has a thing for making deals and "the first born"

Watching pieces of that game Tebow really is a horrible passer. He's a great athlete and can run the ball really well, but he REALLY shouldn't be their quarterback right now.

A lot of that victory last night fell on Denver's defense and the Jets offense just totally having the life sucked out of them.

The Broncos face a defense like the Ravens or the Steelers they will crumble in seconds.

I don't think that people hate Tebow for his beliefs. I think people hate his fans, who seem to think that his beliefs and supposed leadership abilities somehow make him worthy of starting in the NFL. He could be a really nice guy; he seems like he probably is, at least in interviews and such. However, there are plenty of other bad QBs in the NFL who could be just as nice and you don't hear anyone clamoring for them to start. Kyle Orton always seemed like a nice guy and a hard worker. Yet Tebowites wanted to run his ass out of town.

Now, to be fair, the Broncos have won some games under Tebow and it's entirely possible that the fanbase could turn on him if he starts losing. But I highly doubt that.

I don't believe for a second that Tebow can be a future full-time QB unless he becomes a significantly better passer, but Denver may as well go with him right now. The Beard hasn't gotten it done, Brady Quinn I don't think is the answer. At least they win with Tebow. Keep throwing him out there until a better option through free agency or the draft comes along I say.

Yeah, I mean one thing Tebow has shown is that he is at least good under pressure. I mean he REALLY needs work on his passing skills. There were a TON of passes he threw, almost all of them, that should have been completed because he just horribly under threw them.

I can see where the excitement lies in what he can bring because he's an exciting player, whether you want to admit it or not, but him running almost every play is just not going to fly for very much longer. Especially, like I said, against some really solid run defenses.

I must see Tebow go all option on the Steelers. Scoring drive with him on a option..35 yard TD.

Matt would throw a epic fit.

Steelers defense wouldn't allow that crap. LeBeau would put huge pressure on the run and make Tebow have to win the game with his arm...which he can't.

I get that people are resistant to what Tebow is doing because we just haven't seen it in over 30 years....or haven't seen it at all depending on your age

edited due to my conscience winning out
