I'm watching the game and there are a **** load of empty seats in Cinci. Considering they are still in the hunt, why aren't people going?

People are fed up with Mike Brown, and to a smaller degree Marvin Lewis. I saw a news report at the beginning of the season and they interviewd tons of people who swore to not renew season tickets or go to a game until Brown is out. We've only sold out one, maybe two games this season (divisional games). People are pretty much done around here. I know several people who have had season tickets for a decade or more give them up.

The Miami Fans are going to want to kill Matt Moore after this one

IRONY: Interception-Machine Grossman gets bailed out by the Brady Rule in a game against the Pats.

Wow. I wonder if that will change if they end up getting a wild card seed. I can't blame them. Even with the success, a big part of it is due to the weak schedule. I'd imagine Houston would be killing them right now if not for their injuries. Marvin Lewis will find a way to turn this competent young talent into a joke next season. Of course, if Brown thinks for even a second that firing Lewis will put more money in his pocket, you can bet your ass it will be done. Jay Gruden should be given a shot, IMO. Even if Lewis finishes 9-7 or above this season, that will be his third winning season in 8 years. That is pathetic.

Wow the NFL needs to rethink the roughing the passer rule, Patriots just got screwed on an awful awful call

You know what? I don't buy into the whole, "Goodell is out to get Harrison," argument. Harrison plays like a thug. He has punched players who are on the ground and helpless. He has acknowledged that he is trying to injure other players. He is a dirty player. But the fines would have never been as frequent or as heavy if he didn't respond to them by basically telling the commissioner of the National Football League, "**** you, I'm going to keep doing whatever the hell I want." Harrison put the target on himself. If he responded in the same manner that Troy did to his fines, Harrison would have never gotten into hot water. But his response was essentially, "I'm gonna keep on playing dirty and if you don't like it keep on fining me."

I think it's a bit of both, really. Harrison does play like a thug but because of that, the league is going to take any opportunity it gets to fine him, even if its for a hit that is questionable at worst (not this one in particular, but others). The fines that he received last season were astronomical compared to other players. And when you consider that guys like Seymore gets slapped with miniscule fines in comparison for ACTUALLY assaulting other players repeatedly, I think it does give some credence to the idea that Goodell is biased against Harrison.

I agree that Seymour has not been fined enough, but I really wonder if Harrison would receive as many fines if he just manned up, apologized, paid them and shut up. He brings it on himself. When you say things like, "I'm gonna keep playing dirty," and compare Roger Goodell to Adolf Hitler, of course he is going to watch you a bit closer.

Oh come on! You know Grossman would have NEVER thrown that pick had he not been hit somewhere relatively close to the knee! :cwink:

I know, and I wish he would knock that off too. He really needs to back off of that because it just puts a target on him and if he gets suspended, it hurts the team as a whole.

Economy?

Miami is getting jacked up by Philly. Thought this be a easy win for Miami. But then Moore gets hurried, turnovers, no run game, and Philly kicking butt

Yep and unfortunately it is looking like he will be out for at least the San Fran game. Troy showed the perfect way to handle a fine. Harrison should follow his example.

Miami with a STUPID 4th a 1 call. You call for a quick pass by Moore or Moore bootleg. Miami run offense ain't doing crap.

Play being review though..

I guess the fans will be calling for Tony's head again

Wow. Fletcher got SCREWED on that bullsh** unnecessary roughness call.

Haha wow just the officiating in general is awful in the NE/ Redskin game

Yep. Andy Reid has made adjustments for Philly during game. You gotta give Moore time to pass, but OL Long is out and Davis on D is out. Huge blows. :(

Oh well....Carolina is being taped and I look forward to that game.

That call on Fletcher was one of the worst I've seen this season.

Oh hell yeah, Gronk. I'm KILLING in my first fantasy playoff game. :D

What do you guys think of the odds of Brady's number getting retired when he leaves the Pats? If they can do that in football, I mean.

Seriously dude... just give up on Miami and turn on the Panthers game.
