I have nothing against Tebow himself, really. And to be honest, I wouldn't mind that he keeps winning due to various fluke scenarios and his defense giving the Broncos' lousy offense a chance late in games. But the media is making me hate the guy.

I'll admit it, I'm the biggest sports tool when it's football season. I watch Around the League and Total Access on NFLN, as well as SportsCenter and various other ESPN shows. And any time there's a game on, I'll watch it unless it's some lousy matchup (see: any game that features the Jaguars, who keep getting primetime games for some inexplicable reason).

But this Tebow crap is ruining it for me. I turn on NFLN, they're talking Tebow. So I switch to ESPN, and they're talking Tebow as well. Before a game, the talking heads discuss Tebow even if it's a game between two teams that have not and will not play the Broncos at any point in the regular season. At halftime, Bob Costas talks about Tebow's divine magic or something. And then if some other quarterback runs for a first down or a TD, he's pulling a Tebow. Enough already.

I have no problem with giving the guy props for winning (or helping his team win) games. But for the love of God, the sports media needs to stop acting like there are no other players in the entire league, let alone the Broncos.

I agree, and on the other hand, Aaron Rodgers has been ignored even though he's leading his team on a perfect record, and he's doing it by making passes. I know that this will come to pass eventually and I hope it'll be sooner than later.

you could always, ya know, just stop watching ESPN...

Not really an option down here...

NFL Network is better than ESPN, but if you want NFL commentary your best luck is to ignore the TV and go for SiriusXM's NFL radio.

Especially during the offseason, they have a show called Movin the Chains (3-7) that actually teaches football rather than commentates on it. It is amazing.

I think Hound comes from the Land down Under.

Sam Hurd is a big time drug dealer in Chicago

The reason Tebow news is overshadowing the Packers Perfect Season

is because people LOVE to see miracles.

Eli made a great comeback against Dallas but he was playing good all game so IT's NOT that UNEXPECTED.

Tebow on the other hand played below average and logically REALLY had NO HOPE in winning and yet at the end HE DOES!! And he keeps doing it every week.

People love watching the improbable to happen. It gives people hope. It's the ultimate underdog!! I've watch football a lot and other games before my time and never I've seen a player who sucked the whole game and wins at the end. That's great television!!

Their defense is playing great also but Tebow somehow with his strong belief unconciously affects quantum probability fields to cause unlikely events to happen in his favor.

People call it faith, will, luck, or divine intervention but Tebow is capturing everyone's attention more than any nfl player right now because he inspires the everyday people.

Anyways, since i like the Pats, hope the Pats will win this weekend!!

I don't have any love for Tebow at all, but I totally get the facination.

He's an awful quarterback, has a woefully low completion percentage, doesn't score any points in the first 3 quarters, yet doesn't throw interceptions and wins games.

I know it's not all his doing. I know the Broncos as a team have been playing great. But inexplicable nature of his play and his winning is very intriguing.

I doubt itll last, and as one commentator said, he'll probably amount to nothing more than a human version of the Wildcat, but until that happens, you just want to keep watching.

Perfectly said!

The Jaguars are playing like garbage so far. However, Falcons looking pretty solid. More passes to Roddy White please. :oldrazz:

Oh. And also, I honestly think the Packers get to little press because of just how good everyone knows they are.

It doesn't surprise me that they're undefeated, it doesn't surprise me that Aaron Rodgers is the best QB in football. The Packers proved how good they were last year, and now they almost have a Patriots-esque reputation of excellence and consistency.

Only, of course, much more likable than the Pats. :o

Jesus...muffed punt by the Jaguars and now Falcons are crushing them int he beginning of the second quarter. Ugh. I was hoping to get a decent game but guess not. Boo! :cmad:

No NFL network...and no radio stations are streaming tonight's game :argh:

Yahoo game channel, here I come.

Don't stress out ... Not looking like much of a game. 17 - 0 in the middle of the 2nd.

The Jaguars had something there for a second with Jones Drew taking a big run but then they blew it. I just want a decent game.

The entire Falcons team is destroying. Roddy White is having an amazing game and thank goodness. *raises roof*

Haha, a little too little too late there by Jaguars...but at least they are still trying. :oldrazz:

I see we've got the back ups in now. Matt with 224 and 3 touchdowns on the night
