I agree that Battlefield was robbed, but Arkham won 4 major awards, even if it didn't nab GOTY. I'd say that the voters were burnt out on modern war, though, and that's why Battlefield and MW got left out in the cold. Doesn't bode well for the future of that genre, imho.

The biggest legitimate "we wuz robbed," though, to me, is Assassin's Creed. Gets the Col. Sanders "Trailer of the Year" (wtf) and nothing else? C'mon.

But, then again...maybe I'm in the minority. The formula, as tired as it feels for me, is still proving successful. They'll run into into the ground until it stops making them money.

Just reading the Mark Hamill and Tara Strong thing, i'm sorry Luke, but if you are turning up to the VGA's you have no self respect, you are a media prostitute embarrassing gaming and purpurating it even further into awful state it's in. I don't mind them glazing over some awards, but Voice Acting shouldn't be one of them. Especially these days when voice actors are becoming just as famous as their digital counterparts.

He's getting a paycheck and recognition (for a long time) from legitmate batman fans. Spike is a lame show about selling crap. If you he needs to use that as a prodium for a pat on the back more fool him. It's not like the VGA's being an awful money driven promotion pile of crap hoping people who play games suffer from brain damage was some sort of super secret.

I just mean that out of all the people involved in the process, voice actors are given a lot of recognition and one would think that Spike would like to capitalize on that.
