Well he was interviewed at the Combine that it was a mistake last year and it added to much pressure to the team.

What is it about guys named Rex making stupid, cocky statements before the season even starts? Heh, I hope Rex Ryan promises to win the next Super Bowl AND the one after that, declaring his team to be the "real" kings of New York and Sanchokez to be a HOF quarterback. And they proceed to go 4-12, largely due to Mark's 15 TD/32 INT season.

And I hope Rex Grossman proclaims whatever team he's doing 3rd string duty for next season to be the best team of the century, all because of him, and they go 6-10. Because Rex will tell you, you can be a GOOD 6-10 team.

With the draft now officially set. The Colts are now free to sign their first choice pick before the draft. I guess we will soon find out where Peyton Manning will end up

Irsay is probably praying that something will happen which will take the decision out of his hand and not cast him an unforgiving light.

I heard yesterday that Raiders only have a 5th and 6th round draft pick. :o

Rumor has it that Peyton is already in Miami (ignoring the fact that he has a house there) working out & getting in shape with Reggie Wayne. Instead of doing all of that stuff near the Colts etc. So take that for what you will :o

Once again, everyone who has money owns a house here. So yes, ignore that fact.

Marvin Lewis says he is going to talk to Mike Brown about an extension, and says he wouldn't mind retiring as a Bengals head coach.

Someone please wake me up.

Antonio Brown has developed into a top tier receiver in his shorter career. Wallace is just fast. Every secondary with a quick cornerback can shut him down because he can't run routes.

But you take away a top corner on Wallace, leaving Brown with a lower skilled CB. If the defense puts their top corner on Brown then that's a big play waiting to happen with Wallace. Just Wallace's presence on the field is so beneficial to the offense, it opens up their playbook.

On a side note I think Heath is going to have a big year, Haley's a big fan of him. I also look forward to seeing what happens with the RB's in the offseason, and if Redman will start the season.

That's the funniest/saddest part to me.

Good, I really hope they utilize Heath more. He's got some of the surest hands in the league and I think if Ben targeted him more often they could be putting up Brady/Gronk numbers (at least occasionally).

It's just the I wouldn't mind part as if he's doing them a favor.

Makes sense. The Bengal is the biggest predator in the NFC North next to Ben Roethlisberger.

But it's not needed. Wide receivers are a dime a dozen. It is the deepest position in the NFL. Paying top tier money (which is what Wallace wants) to a receiver who is quick but cannot run routes is a bad move. Especially when the Steelers are having the cap problems that they are.
