It's going to look so weird not seeing Peyton Manning in a Colts uniform. Having said that, he'll sign a one day contract to retire as a Colt in a year or two.

Watch it be some random ass team that ends up with Peyton. Could you imagine Jacksonville Jaguar Peyton?

They was talking on NFL Network is Peyton's career gonna end like Unitas, on another team playing bad or like Montana having success even on another team.

Maybe Raiders can bench Carson and get #18.

49ers need to step up now.

NO...we have alex smith...just need to get him a wr....and then super bowl:woot:
IM NOT JOKING

I want to see peyton in a dolphins uniform...so he can stick it to the jets twice a yr

I like Alex Smith but if u have chance to get one of the goat qb, u do it

I can easily see Washington taking him, when they should be setting their sights on RG3 :argh:

Manning doesn't need the money. A couple million here or there won't make a difference to him. He wants another Super Bowl ring. Now more than ever because he doesn't want baby brother upstaging him. So we can probably safely take San Fran and Miami off the table. Jets too. Rex Ryan's culture will not fit Manning and I don't think that the Jets front office is ready to give up on Sanchez.

I could see Manning go to the following teams....

K.C., San Fran, Arizona and MAYBE Seattle. Each of these teams have foundations with which Peyton can work, WEAK DIVISIONS and make a run in the next couple years. Miami and Washington don't have similar foundations or divisions.

I really hope the Colts don't cut Peyton...let him retire.

Too late. And Manning doesn't want to retire.

Thats why the Saints should trade Drew Brees and sign Peyton Manning because he is so much cheaper.:o

Safe bet would be to go to San Fran if he wants to win now.

I don't buy that San Fran or Harbaugh are so loyal to Smith that they will keep him over Peyton Manning. If all things were equal, Smith would be sitting the bench and Peyton would be taking snaps.

What I do think is standing in the way of San Fran taking Manning are cap concerns and Harbaugh. Harbaugh would not be okay with his quarterback running the offense.

Peyton could be a Cowboy next season.

Just like no big name coach wants to come to Dallas, do you really think a QB like Brees or Manning would consider playing for the Cowboys as long as Jerry Jones's ineptitude with letting anyone but himself manage the team?

Jerry Jones has a winning track record regardless of his attitude. Besides Dallas is really a QB away from being serious contenders. If they get a Brees or Manning that is highly possible for them winning another SB.

Why wouldn't he?

You mean the 1 playoff win in 15 years?

And Romo had a good year last year. While Romo does have some brain farts, statistically he has great numbers. It's not Romo's fault most of the time. The Cowboys aren't some underachieving team, they are just very average with a few really good players. Ware, Bryant, Romo.

I agree. With a tough defense and stellar ground attack, Peyton won't need to do too much. I think he'll have a great chance winning his second ring with Niners.

I think the latter will prove true.

Unless that team is the Redskins. If it is, get ready for (a good :cwink:) 5-11.
