I'm guessing Manning's new Jersey will be #1 next year.

Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network reports via twitter on Peyton Manning, "Terminated, vested veteran, FAILED PYSICAL". Apparently, this is on the League's waiver wire sent to teams.

Why is this not making the rounds on the major networks?

Maybe the Dolhpins could go after Brees again if he does not go back to New Orleans.

That entire line of decision making is still painful.

Dolphins decision making Bad Knees > Bad shoulder. Can't blame them....well yeah you can.

Not going to happen unless the NFL removes the franchise tag off him as part of punishment over bountygate. He has an "exclusive" franchise tag, meaning that he can only negotiate a contract with the Saints. No other NFL teams are allowed to talk to him.

Does Kevin Kolb have guaranteed money on his contract? I don't know if Cardinals can just cut him without suffer any monetary losses. Personally, I think Peyton should go to Niners, who are in the same division as Cards but have better Oline, running games, and defense. Cards have better WR but as a team they have more deficiencies than Niners do.

I've heard he has a roster bonus due soon.

Good god how does Indy get so lucky goes from Peyton manning to a can't miss prospect like Andrew luck and my team has mike Vick:csad: maybe a miracle will happen and we get manning.

Michael Vick is the least of the Eagles' problems. :o

Ya i know but the guy can't stay on the field and was a turnover machine last year but just saying i would die of happiness if manning my favorite non eagle player was an eagle

That is pretty huge, surprised that isn't making more headlines.

Yeah, but it would never happen. Why? Because the Eagles biggest problem - Andy Reid - doesn't know what he's doing half the time. :o

I agree, that's totally major news, but you have to understand that it's much more important that we spend all day crying our eyes out that a multimillionaire was denied a $28 million dollar bonus and will instead be forced to hang his head in shame while he signs with another team for $65 million despite the fact that they have no idea whether he'll be able to play.

I think it's stupid to say Manning won't be able to play. If he feels his body cant go anymore, he would've retired. He's not the kind of guy that would play if he can't give his best week in and week out.

Well, he reportedly failed a physical...

Now, there's still plenty of time before the season, but you never know what could happen. I personally think he will, but anything is possible.

Since Peyton already stated that he'd rather not play in the same conference as his brother Eli, I think we can eliminate alot of teams who are in the process of pursuing him. While I think Niners would be the best team for him due the division and the fact that Niners had played in the conference final last season, I think the more likely destination would be Dolphins or Broncos (Elway won't mind getting Peyton over Tebow), with Cardinals a dark horse candidate.

Why are you all assuming Peyton would be the starter? He would likely be Moore's backup.

How poor is the NFL QB depth that Ryan Tannehill is a possible first round pick?
