If my calculations are correct, I think I've finally figured out what will happen. Bear with me on this.

Washington, Denver and Houston will start a bidding war for Peyton with Houston ultimately winning out. Houston will no longer have a need for Matt Schaub, and thus Denver and Washington will star a bidding war for him. Denver, desperate to be rid of Tebow, will ultimately out-Snyder Dan Snyder and land Schaub. They'll then kick Tebow to the curb. Mike Shanahan will talk Dan Snyder out of offering Tebow a seven-year, $254 million contract and convince him that the Redskins will still have a chance at landing RG3 in the draft. So Tebow will remain on the market as other teams mull signing a quarterback who can't throw.

Meanwhile, Matt Flynn remains on the market. Miami, Cleveland and Seattle will make offers to him. Dan Snyder, suddenly aware that there's another free agent on the market, will trump all of their offers. However, Miami ultimately will win out. So Cleveland, Washington and Seattle will start a bidding war for the second pick in the draft. Cleveland will ultimately get it and thus will sign RG3 and release Colt McCoy. Seattle will sign Colt McCoy because they realize that they don't have enough bad quarterbacks on their roster.

Meanwhile, the sh** hits the fan in New Orleans. Sean Peyton and Gregg Williams get fired over Bountygate and Drew Brees announces that he wants to sign with another team. Dan Snyder offers Brees a 20-year $378 million contract and he accepts. Then Snyder also signs Tebow to be Brees’ back-up to a smaller (but still ludicrous) deal. If you're wondering how Snyder pulls all of this off and manages to stay under the salary cap, it's because he forced Shanahan to cut the rest of the Redskins' roster and sign a bunch of players from the Canadian league.

On opening day, Brees will get sacked on the first play of the game by all four of the opposing teams’ linebackers simultaneously as they easily bypass the Redskins' turnstile offensive line. The injuries Brees sustains from the hit will not only end his season, but his career. Tebow will step in to take his place, and for five whole minutes, Tebowmania will catch on in Washington. Then he'll tear his ACL on a running play and it will all be over. John Beck will start the rest of the season. Since Roger Goodell will have instituted an 18-game season in order to ensure player safety, the Redskins will make history by being the first team ever to go 0-18.

Maybe they aren't strong arming him but are giving him an offer that he can't refuse. Reports are saying that the Broncos are essentially willing to do anything to get Manning.

Reports are saying so are the Dolphins. So why would Peyton ignore what both teams have to offer ? & he already lives in Miami

So much hate for DC the last few pages

Because the Broncos have a much stronger O-line, defense and running game than the 'Phins. And he doesn't live in Miami. He has a condo there like every other person in America who makes more than $1 million a year.

Not to mention Manning's goal is the Super Bowl and Denver's division is MUCH weaker than the AFC East.

Also I think more free agents will consider Denver with Peyton instead of Tebow.

If there's any way within reason to shoot themselves in the foot with this Manning thing, the Dolphins will find it.

Source: Redskins Get No. 2 Pick
In a pre-draft blockbuster trade, the St. Louis Rams have agreed in principle to send the second overall pick in this year's draft to the Washington Redskins for three first-round draft picks and a second-round pick, according to a source in Cleveland familiar with the terms of the deal.

And people say my Falcons gave up the farm for Julio :hehe:

Rams have a great opportunity to go to the next level with those picks.

Rowsdower is going to have a field day with this news :lmao:.

Is Blackmon going to be there at 6?

Reports are saying that Manning's meeting with the Broncos lasted longer than 6 hours.

"But with so many picks gone how will the Redskins build a team?"

"Same way Dan Snyder always has, over paying in free agency."

Dan Snyder just shot his franchise in the foot. With a 12-gauge.

Congrats, man. I really hope RG3 is as good as he's projected to be. I live near DC and it would be great to see some genuine excitement again over the 'Skins. It's a tragedy that fans had to suffer through The Sex Cannon and John "I Think I Can" BeckGruber last season, Done-in McNabb before that and Jason "Deadweight" Campbell before that. There's been a dearth of good QB play in DC for too long; I hope Griffin changes all that.

Cannot wait to hear Jon Gruden's takes on RG3 and Luck next year.

LOL, as much as I like to rip Snyder (and as much as he deserves it) I'm glad they were able to pull this off. Will it be successful? Well, at least they didn't bring in another guy who might be at the end of his career.
