I've not been watching football long enough to really give any opinion on the Bengals side Mt. Rushmore... but the comments are pretty shocking for me. Was Chad Johnson really that good in his early years? I only started watching football in the game where Palmer's leg was taken out, and Chad was only fairly mediocre from that point on. I was shocked to see him on there and shocked to see people mentioning his stats and backing him up. I mean, I liked the guy, but I just assumed he was always a joke made famous by his antics.
Was surprised by Matt Ryan for the Falcons, Joe Flacco for the Ravens and Sean Payton for the Saints.

They lost me with having Vick on Atlanta's mountain. This came and went without any discussion here.
Each team's Mount Rushmore.

Peyton doesn't suprise me as the man brought the town a SB in a time when it needed it the most. He represents that victory almost as much as anyone on that team.
)Mr. Bounty. Without his bounty system, the Vikings beat them in the NFC Championship and win the Super Bowl.

(At least that's how it happens in my dreams)

Must've missed the bottom part of my post indicating the obvious sarcasm, huh?
Having said that, a huge reason they did so well that year was the aggressive culture he established, which yes, did involve offering bounties.
Chad Johnson, the player, as been overshadowed by his antics, but he was still THE shining star of the Bengals for a bit. In those first 5 or 6 years, he was arguably the best receiver in the league.
I can't stand that. You know Katrina.Peyton doesn't suprise me as the man brought the town a SB in a time when it needed it the most. He represents that victory almost as much as anyone on that team.
I was actually at that game. From my standpoint it didn't seem like it. But, there are always going to be questionable calls but I just find the irony of an official handing a game to a team in terms of the Steelers funny considering Super Bowl XL.
Only 2 calls if you don't count, the pass interference call against Jackson where they had to settle for 4 and one could argue that Roethlisberger didn't get that touchdown on the goal line during the 1st half.“I kicked two calls in the fourth quarter and I impacted the game and as an official you never want to do that. It left me with a lot of sleepless nights and I think about it constantly. I’ll go to my grave wishing that I’d been better.”
