It's understandable, in the end people don't want to have to eat their tickets.

I'm not familiar with buying the night before or the day off. But if you're purchasing with a credit card, you would have some sort of financial security. You can call your credit card company and say you never got the tickets in time. You do get them digitally so you would assume you'd get them right away.

If I want a good deal, when is the best time to buy tickets that are instant download? Thinking of going to a game but want to know when is the best time to buy for a Sunday 1PM game

Yes, I've bought a few times from StubHub.

Never once had any issues or anything. I can't really speak about if the prices drop right before or anything. But at the same time, I didn't really have time to wait that long.

Last time I bought tickets, I bought them for the NFC Championship in Atlanta. But I live just outside of Nashville... so I needed to have the tickets good and ready to go before I hit the road. I think I bought the tickets the day before the game, or a few days before.

Prices will go up and down, definitely keep tabs on it.
