Things looking great for the Niners and happy for Smith with the Chiefs. I hope they make the playoffs.

So some highlights of the day:

- That Panthers defense is scary good. The NFC South better not sleep on them.
- So...why didn't the Vikings draft a QB in the draft?
- The Saints have returned.
- Reggie Bush has returned.
- The Steelers played like complete s***. It blew my mind how horrible the offense as a whole is.
- I am so glad no team in the AFC North won a game this week.
- Lavonte David literally cost his team the win. Horrible.
- Rex Ryan lost some serious weight. Good for him.
- Granted, it was against the Jaguars...but the Chiefs seem to have some great things going for them.
- EJ Manuel and the Bills were looking fantastic today. It's a shame they didn't know how to close out the game.
- Colin Kaepernick can ball. I feel as though many people forgot that he is a pocket QB first and foremost.

Shad Khan better get his head out of his ass and realize that Tebow for one season will do three things:

1. It will give him something that's better than Glabbert.
2. It will actually fill up seats in that damn arena for at least one season.
3. If Tebow stinks up the place and gets cut, it will finally kill the legend of Tebow forever. ESPN and the likes will never report on Tebow again.

they'll just blame it on his supporting cast

Hmmm, that is true. That slipped my mind. He's got MJD at least. Why that man didn't trust jump ship to another team, I have no idea.

:o

It seems like during the offseason, people were saying, "stop the read option and you stop the 9ers offense".....hehe.

Also, Carolina's D is legit and Pittsburgh looks absolutely dreadful.

Should be fun watching Philly's offense tomorrow.

I am looking forward to the Washington/Philadelphia game so much. There are so many things I want to see (or not see happen).

I am an Oregon fan so of course I want to see how Chip does in his first game. One thing's for sure, Philly's offense is gonna be fast

If that offensive line can protect Vick, they'll be in good shape.

Rams are gonna give us more of the same, gritty grind it out victories. I like it.

Happy about the defense we have in our possession. We haven't had a defense this scary, and with this much hype since 2003. Exciting times to be a Panther fan. :wow:

If only we had a secondary though, and a legitimate #2 WR for Cam.

Also... I missed it. WTF happened with Tampa Bay???

One of their players got flagged for a late hit which put the Jets into FG range with 7 seconds left.

And how is Kaep cocky?

Because he is.

What's next? Are you going to tell me that Harbaugh isn't a whiny, melodramatic crybaby? If you actually believe this crap, I've got a bridge to sell you. :oldrazz:

I was very proud of my Raiders yesterday. I thought it was a good game. I am not ashamed at all by that loss. Now here's hoping my Skins do well tonight. I am going to this game.

I can tell you who I think is a a whiny, melodramatic crybaby, but you might not like the answer... :oldrazz: :oldrazz: :oldrazz:

:yay:

Looks like both Pouncey and Foote are out for the season.

What can you say? Both are huge parts of the team and there is no one on the team who can fill their roles. Frankly, this falls squarely on Tomlin and Colbert. One of the most injury prone players in the NFL shouldn't be the lynchpin of the teams offensive line, to the point where the line crumbles without him. But IF he is, then he should sure as hell have a good backup. As for Foote, basically its the same but switch injury prone for older player in one of the most physical roles in the NFL.

In the Cowher days, you never heard anyone making excuses about injuries, because if a player got injured, his backup could seamlessly step in. It seems like every Mike Tomlin press conference has him making an excuse about injuries being the reason that the team is underperforming.

Cowher had foresight. Tomlin doesn't. Cowher knew how to use the later rounds of the draft to find diamonds in the rough and build depth on his team. Tomlin doesn't. Cowher knew when it was time to cut your losses and move on from an older player. Tomlin doesn't. Ugh, what I wouldn't give to have the Chin back on the sideline. Remember when Joe Gibbs returned to Washington after his retirement? One can dream....right?

:yay:

At least when my team loses I blame my team, not the refs like a certain coach and his fans. :oldrazz:

So disappointed in Cincinnati, but at least their entire division lost... so next week is as good as this week.

The good news is that even though they lost the game for themselves, I saw a lot of improvement in various areas. If they pick up from this loss, get mad, and learn from it, we could have a fantastic year.

I didn't watch most of the games because I was at Yankee Stadium, but when I saw that the Chiefs beat the Jaguars 28-2. I was like Smith is stepping up. Until I found out, 1 TD came off a INT. 3 others came after great field position after returned punts and another INT. I mean this is typical Smith 173 yards with conservative passing?

I wouldnt read too much into a win over the Jags. They look and play like an arena league team. Gabbert is an abortion at QB.
