Is anyone else passing on tonight's game? I think I might watch The World Series instead.
I always like to watch Rodgers work, but I will be mostly watching the World Series game.

Really terrible interference call. Really really awful. Holy refs are already missing blantant calls

Just checked out the upcoming Sunday Night games.

A lot of them don't look great on paper.

I have a feeling the Bengals/Colts game will be flexed into the Sunday night spot if both teams keep playing the way they've been playing.

Week 13 will also have Broncos and Chiefs being flexed too most likely.

Keep in mind that CBS and FOX can protect games to keep them from getting flexed out.

True. It has to be a 1:00 game to get moved too.

I don't mind games in England but can't we get games in LA first?
I suspect the Raiders will eventually move to LA...Mark is loosing money in Oakland, he just don't want to lose majority ownership or grant partial ownership, for the sake of moving...which is required by investor group to move to the downtown location. The City of Industry investor requires a stake in the team.

Oh...and the Raiders own the steelers. :)

Also with the Flex schedule, teams aren't allowed to play more than 6 primetime games in a season.

edit: Actually this is the right way they do it.

Individual teams may make no more than four appearances on NBC during the season. Only three teams may make as many as six prime time appearances (Sunday night, Monday night, Thursday night, and Saturday night combined).[27] The remaining teams may make a maximum of five prime time appearances. In addition, there are no restrictions amongst intra-division games being "flexed."

Man, watching the Bengals game yesterday brought a lot of joy to my life. I'm still pretty excited over it. Hopefully they'll keep this (or close to this) type of momentum up.

Why are the Raiders winning ?
Because the Raiders are not as bad as people make them out to be. They are just in the hardest division right now. And really the only loses on their record should have been to the Broncos and Chiefs. The rest of the games they should've won but they beat themselves by giving it away at the end. They are a much better team then their record shows.

Honestly, both teams show be ashamed. The Lions should finish in the 10-6 range or 9-7 range. But they are going to be one and done in the playoffs (if they make it. 10-6 or 9-7 may not guarantee playoffs if the Panthers stay hot). The reason the Lions should make playoffs is because the Panthers have a rough rest of the schedule and the NFC is in shambles with very few exceptions. Four turnovers. Near the top of the league in terms of penalties. This has been a very lucky team so far. They are lacking discipline, turning the ball over. Schwartz continues to let the inmates the run the asylum. It is easy to look at the miraculous win and forget the atrocious game that necessitated that miraculous win. Lions didn't win the game. Cowboys lost it. That can be said about a lot of the Lions' wins this season. This team just won't be on the next level as long as Schwartz is running the show.

I'm not going to lie I'll hate it if the team moves to LA because there they would be non relevant to the town. But I'll always be an Oakland/LA Raider regardless.

Other thought: Steelers should trade Mike Tomlin. Yes, trading a head coach is rare in the NFL, but not unprecedented. Oakland traded Jon Gruden to Tampa Bay. Tomlin is a Super Bowl winning coach with ties to Minnesota and Tampa Bay, both of whom will probably be in the coaching hunt this off-season and both of whom will have high value picks. A trade of Tomlin to either team would be win/win.

Steelers are entering a major rebuilding period (probably one that will last 2 to 4 more seasons, by which point the franchise QB will either be retired or too banged up to keep playing at a productive level). Steelers are going into a pretty rough period. Trading Tomlin for a couple high level draft picks would expedite the rebuilding and possibly allow the Steelers to patch up enough holes to make one more run with Ben.

With Tomlin it is a win, because it gives him another team. He is entering next season on the hot seat and the Steelers, even with the best draft in history, just won't have the talent to compete next year. A Super Bowl winning coach in a new city, he will be guaranteed at least a good three years to turn things around for that city. Both Tampa Bay and Minnesota are younger teams with pieces in place. Either would be a good fit for Tomlin.

Finally, either team would come out a winner. Especially Tampa Bay which is a team where the GM has direct ties to Tomlin and the players are ready to revolt. A "player's coach," like Tomlin would be ideal to replace Schiano and restore some faith in the locker room.

I know it is a near impossibility....but Tampa Bay has traded for coaches in the past. I think it would be a good play.

It is my opinion, that Dez Bryant did not get enough spankings as a child. Because he still acts like one.

Dude, could you be any more of a wet blanket? Your dislike of Schwartz knows no bounds.

The NFL beat baseball last night....5.6 to 4.4.

Bryant was acting like he was on the Hype complaining about the latest casting choice.
