Based on what? If Hardy deserves to be in prison, then so does Holder. Educate yourself on the case details instead of blurting poo statements.

How are you going to tell me I don't know what happened in the case? I wouldn't have made that comment if I didn't know squat about it.

Then you should be aware that 95% of what Holder and her attorneys claimed was utter bullocks. The only bruising she had was around arms. She wasn't thrown onto a mountain of assault rifles, she wasn't slammed through a bath tub and/or toilet, she wasn't punched repeated while Hardy was on top of her, etc. Holder was high on cocaine when the policed arrived.

How do you "know" this?

How do you "know" this?

Those were the claims that Voth and Igo reported.

This is not about Hardy anymore. I don't care if he ever plays for us again. This is about the NFL getting caught with their pants down and instead of getting out in front of the problem they bent over backwards to public opinion and a witch hunt, and went bonkers. Their ineptitude has done more harm to the shield than any of these court problems. As their awesome commercial says "No More" please. Get these things behind them then institute policies (along with the NFLPA) that will be valid and not try to retroact the punishments. Then you can at least save face and say "Yes, there is a problem and this is how we (NFL and Players) will handle it going forward".

If you're referring about the possible injuries, it's quite simple really. Hardy wasn't arrested when law enforcement arrived to the scene. They found zero to very minimal evidence that Greg even laid his hands on Holder. Hardy turned himself in.

He'll do it again. No doubt.

You're just saying that because you fear for Matt Ryan's life.

So at first with reading in Deadspin and later with Adam Schefter, there appears to be a video of Dez Bryant and his gf which is said to be worse than the Ray Rice one. It's speculated why the Cowboys haven't signed him yet.

I forget the source (it may have been Schefter), but it's supposed to be "five times worse" than the Ray Rice incident.

JPP TAGGED
BRYANT TAGGED
GOSTKOWSKI TAGGED
Suh not tagged
HOUSTON TAGGED

Damn I love NFL Free Agency season.

Obviously Dallas isn't worried about any video.

I hope the Pats have a nice contract in store for McCourty.

I think Suh ends up in Chicago or Oakland. He says he wants to play in Seattle, but that isn't going to happen.

If Suh went to Seattle, I fear for any mid to lower-tier QB or a QB with a s*** offensive line. If Suh goes to Oakland, he'll fall into oblivion. Don't do it.

Oakland is what he deserves.

I still don't understand the franchise tag stuff

Franchise tag is a tool in the CBA teams can use (up to 2 times) on a player before he becomes an unrestricted free agent. It allows them to basically force the player to sign a 1 year contract but the salary is the average of the top 5 in the NFL at his given position. Basically you get to hang on to a good player for another year at the price of paying through the nose for it. Although even after you've "tagged" someone you can still sign them to a different long term deal before they sign the franchise tag deal.

With Suh the Lions would've had to have paid him $26.9 million this year if they tagged him, and it all counts against the current year's cap, they can't defer any of it into a signing bonus or anything.

Obviously this would've completely cap strapped them to have him on the books for that amount given the contracts they already gave to Stafford and Megatron.

I'm still hopefully Suh resigns here. He's been out and about in the Detroit area lately (he's from Oregon) and Mayhew still seems confident in getting something done before free agency starts on March 10. Lions can still offer him the best combo of salary and chance of winning, or at least moreso than some of these other teams like Oakland and Jacksonville who have a ton of cap space. Teams like the Seahawks would have to gut their entire roster to fit him into their cap structure.

Eagles traded McCoy to the Bills for Kiko Alonso. Trade expected to be official next week.

Terrible move by the Bills.

Kiko Alonso is a exceptional Linebacker...people are going to all OMG McCoy got traded, but Alonso is the more integral player for a defense.

Chip with a nice pull

Smart move by Eagles, they unload the back end of McCoys huge contract on a player thats probably gonna regress within the next 2 season

After they released Trent Cole today they had 41 mil in cap space. They can make some moves. I hope they go after Cobb. I think he'll fit well with the Eagles.

They also released Cary Williams, I think they go after Byron Maxwell.
