Eagles.... please. Come on now.... what are you doing?

Eagles.... please. Come on now.... what are you doing?

Eagles just got themselves a stud, a invaluable 3-down linebacker, dropped $10 million in cap as well. Just get Demarco Murray and keep Kiko!

This literally makes no sense to me if I'm a Bills fan...Losing Kiko and Spikes, and probably Hughes, Searcy. Is Rex Ryan going to play linebacker for them?

Sure, McCoy is skilled as hell, top 5 RB...But Bills have a terrible OL and that linebacker group just got weaker...It's dumb, just draft Melvin Gordon or trade a pick for a running back. It is the easiest position to acquire. Damn it, trade Kiko for a QB.

Bills fans are pissed 80/20...So if you are a Eagles fan, relax you will be fine.

I'm more concerned/interested in how this will affect the Eagles offense.

The addition of Kiko will DEFINITELY help on the defensive side, but I think losing McCoy could hurt the team in a big way, offensively. And while we still have Sproles, I don't think he can contribute as much as McCoy has.

This all said, it'll be interesting to see who, if anyone, the Eagles target for the RB position in free agency. Murray and Peterson are likely on Chip Kelly's radar, as they're only ones I can see matching/surpassing his productivity.

The Bills will get a few good years out of McCoy. I think this trade all depends on how healthy Alonso can stay after coming back from an ACL tear. If he's injured all the time, then the Bills win this trade. Still too early to judge if they made a big mistake.

I simply cannot believe that Ray Rice, who should be in jail for years, is now getting a 1.5 million dollar settlement. The neutral arbitrator who overturned his suspension is morally bankrupt, as is anyone who helped him get this money back.

How so? Do tell.

I completely hadn't realized he just got franchised yesterday.

Anyways, my post was stemming off what I heard on the radio earlier today. Chris Cooley proposed a theory that the "reports" of a Bryant video could have been circulated intentionally in order to decrease his demands and prevent other teams from making a big offer. Cooley was basically saying how its suspicious that no video ended up surfacing, and that it's not entirely unreasonable to assume that the rumors emerged from within the organization.

I'm not saying that I buy his theory, but it was an interesting perspective for sure.

Ive heard that rumor as well last week, and if I recall Dez deleted a tweet mentioning how he felt betrayed at the time I thought it was in relation to perhaps his former friends who had the ''video'' but he could also have meant the Cowboys organization

Yeah, that Dez Bryant situation was pretty cooky. For almost a whole week I kept on seeing stories about how a video was going to be released "within 24 hours" that would be "worse than the Ray Rice video". But said video never materialized.

I bet Roger Goodel got a hold of it and had it taken care of. He has vast experience in destroying tapes. :o

Matt Cassel traded to the bills

I request that the title of this thread be changed to:

Phree Agency Phire Sale in Philly!

Also... do the Bills seriously think MATT CASSEL is their answer at quarterback?

/remembers Rex Ryan coaches the Bills and is a horrible, overrated idiot.

/everything suddenly makes sense.

Buffalo is in a deep situation at QB. Manuel hasn't proved himself, Orton retired and they don't have a high draft pick to even consider a QB early. I'm sure they'll look at one later on in the draft. Cassel might not be the answer, but it's something.

Bills are still looking for someone that "resembles" Jim Kelly. :o

Patriots are letting Vince Wilfork walk and Darnell Dockett has signed with the niners

Vince and the Pats left on good terms. I love ya, Vince.

How does everyone feel about the Eagles/Bills trade?

It came out of no where. I would never have done this trade, but I see many people are saying the Eagles won because of freed up cap space.

As an NFC East fan, I'm elated (even though the Skins play the Bills next year).

As an NFL fan, I'm a little confused. I have to say, for a new coach, Kelly has shown some guts in Philly. Releasing guys like Jackson and McCoy isn't easy.

One of my buddies is an Eagles fan, and he's still ticked about losing Jackson to the Skins. Did you see the video of the angry Eagles fan?

Is your friend the angry Eagles fan? Oh, and I have not seen the video.

Am I allowed to post a video with a lot of expletives, as long as I warn members?
