According to Adam Schefner, Josh Gordon failed another drug test and is going to be up for a year long suspension. Can't say I'm shocked.

I feel bad for this dude. His career looked bright but he had to go on and f*** it all up. Then he keeps f***ing it up.

...

...then I remembered that he plays for Cleveland. His career was f***ed up on his first day.

I think the new format for the Pro Bowl sucks. :down

Wow, I forgot the Pro Bowl was on tonight. I guess I'll put on these last 7 minutes in the background while I do some homework.

Just watch the highlights on Sportscenter; they'll probably show Beckham 80% of the time anyway. :word:

I ended up watching the last 4 or 5 minutes. It's the first time I realized that the Pro Bowl is actually played for money.

:o

Dalton playing s***ty was my joy of those last 5 minutes.

If any of those tweaks make their way into regular season games, and I don't rule out any level of stupidity when it comes to Roger Goodfornothing, they will just further dilute football. :whatever:

Then I'm sure you saw the only part of the game when the players actually tried. The Pro Bowl outlived its usefulness decades ago. Eliminating it is perfectly logical, and would help players' safety, but I'm sure the owners and Goodfornothing are too focused on new rules that will penalize defenders for eating spicy food before the game and breathing on the QB. Hot sauce = 15 yard penalty.

I really couldn't care less about the Pro Bowl now.

Not that it was a spectacle before, but I at least was aware it was on and was interested in seeing which Conference outplayed the other.

If not the old format, it would be nice if they brought back the skills competition.

Agree but this was the first time I have watched the Pro bowl in sever years. I just figured I would watch it because I hadn't watched it in sever years. The problem I have with the pro bowl is all the stupid different rules compared to a regular game. Cant bliz, the clock still runs after incompletions, no kick offs, teams switch positions after end of a quarter so a team can be on a drive and the clock runs out so they don't get to continue there position and try to score to start the next quarter, the FG post is only 14 feet wide instead of the normal 18 feet. So am I missing any thing? If they are going to play the pro bowl ever single rule should be the same has any other game. The plus side was that grims INT was an amazing catch has he just took it away form the WR.

Yeah it is to bad because the guys has some major talent!

Air pressure and the Pro Bowl....

Good lord...how low has the NFL sunk that this is all there is to talk about?

Fined for what?
For doing exactly what Brady is being accused of doing. Deliberately changing the pressure of the footballs he is going to use outside the legal limits because of his personal preference. He even gets away with it every time the officials don't notice.

It's such a non-issue that this was actually talked about openly on national TV and resulted in zero outrage from anyone. Suddenly now fans are going crazy. The ultimate double standard.

Why would there be an investigation? Rodgers admitted putting more air in the balls before the game. If the referee who inspected those balls let it go, then that should be on them.

The Patriots are under investigation for altering the balls DURING the game.
No...it's the exact same situation. The only thing that changed during the Pats game was the footballs being adjusted back to the regulated pressure....whereupon the Pats started playing better.

A non-issue in every possible way.

I'm not even a football fan really and I find this witch hunt after the Patriots to be ridiculous.

Haven't various people solved this scientifically? So many people seem keen on finding some kind of ill conceived conspiracy. Deflategate has to be one of the dumbest "controversies" of recent memory. Wouldn't the flat balls affect both teams? I mean it's ridiculous this whole thing.
You would think CB's would love it if it does make the balls easier to catch. Those guys are notoriously bad at catching the ball. It actually would be a bigger benefit to the defense.

That's if it's a benefit at all. Rodgers and other QB's prefer the ball OVER-inflated.

Deflategate. That is what ESPN is now calling it.
Ugh....can we somehow get the media to stop with the "gate" stuff?

I'm no Patriot fan, especially with the controversy surrounding The Panther-Patriot Super Bowl BUT this topic has been blown up to epic proportions to the point where the media is just gonna motivate Darth Hoodie and The Patriots to blow out The Seahawks. It's bad enough you've got Seattle players taunting Brady and Gronk but now that the media is taking shots at New England... it might just be that perfect storm brewing.
That's what I'm wondering about. If this has an effect on the game either way, it's a disservice to the sport.

Rumor has it Terence, that your TV channel of choice is C-Span

So it looks like some locker room attendant for the Pats is going to take the fall for this. I'm not the least bit surprised at that.
