Haloti Ngata traded to Detroit Lions, according to a source

:(

Ravens are getting pulled apart :( but this is like the third year he has refused to restructure his contract to help free up space so this will help them cuz they're losing everyone. Ngata, Torrey, Daniels, McPhee, Williams etc

At least Forsett said he wants to stay. If he doesn't I wouldnt mind pursuing Murray from Dallas. I also wouldn't be mad if they could pick up Andre Johnson but it sounds like Indy really wants him.

Also since I'm a big Carolina fan too, it's kinda bittersweet to hear they've released deangelo williams but it had to be done.

When your team is on average a playoff contender your gonna have higher impactful contracts that lead to talents like above being cap casualties. But all the players we lost so far are replacable and have backups ready to step up.

Ngata had it coming after playing hardball with the front office the past couple years. He cant stay healthy and the past 2 of 3 years he has shown up to training camp out of shape and he played great this year but how much was that helped with the illegal drug he was using?

Im not too obsessed to bring forsett back but if we can get him for the right price im all for this.

Did the 49ers hit a self-destruct button or something? Good Lord.

What a crazy day it was! So many trades but for me the Seahawks were the big winners.

Jets get QB Ryan Fitzpatrick from the Texans for a late round draft pick.

Okay how come New Orleans doesn't come out and say "we're not going to trade Drew Brees?"

Because the rumors continue.

I doubt he goes anywhere simply because Saints will take a $33M dead money cap hit if they trade him.

I don't mind that he left, at least the team got something in return (4th and 5th) I think Forsett returns, but if he doesnt I rather us draft a rb in 2nd than get any of the available ones imo Murray was a product of Dallas's oline.

btw the Ravens have 11 draft picks to play with in this draft.

Round 1 (26)
Round 2 (26)
Round 3 (26)
Round 4 (23)

Eagles and former Chargers RB Ryan Mathews officially have reached agreement on 3-year, $11.5 million deal that includes $5M gtd, per source

The Eagles now officially have the two LEAST durable players in the NFL

I don't think Mariota would last to pick 10 anyway, would he? The Eagles must be planning to package together some picks to move up to get him. That is the only logical conclusion...

You know, when the news broke that the Rams were giving permission to Bradford's agent to speak to other teams about a possible trade, I figured that no NFL team would be silly enough to trade for a QB with a $13 million salary coming off of two ACL tears.

Enter Chip Kelly.... He's either very stupid or the smartest man alive. I'm sure he view himself as the latter:

Andre Johnson is now a Colt

I'm excited about how good the Dolphins' D-Line looks for next season. It should make things easier on the linebacking corps (who will likely need it) and the secondary (who will likely need it a bit less).

I never really paid attention to him of the field before, but Suh presents himself damn well, even as far as interests outside of football... and then he steps on someone.

A number of holes still to fill, but I'm giddy... and then, it all ends in another bout of flailing misery leading to 8-8 because Dolphins.

Hey, how do you feel about the great one himself, Matt Moore probably resigning as back up QB? I mean...he was linked to the Buffalo Bills and NY Jets, but they each went with Matt Cassel and Ryan Fitzpatrick. Houston got Brian Hoyer. Cleveland got Josh McCown. St Louis not only got Nick Foles, but also Case Keenum from Houston to back him up. Minnesota has a good guy it seems in that rookie, Bridgewater? Soooo...maybe 49ers if Colin is dealt? Maybe Arizona since their QB situation isn't that sure with two QB's injured? Tampa Bay? Rumors they may get Brees.

So, gonna guess Moore signs a new deal for $$ and retires as a Dolphin.
