I think the Falcons have a chance to get back to the Super Bowl. They have a young defense that's only going to get better. The only problem is the confidence factor. I don't think a losing team from the Super Bowl has gone back the following year since the Bills did it in the early 90's.

I want to say it is a zero chance. Not after that loss and losing their offensive coordinator.

Well the Patriots might have won, but the Falcons have won the popular vote.

In the end, that turned out to be a typical NFL season. The only thing it was missing was the Bengals losing their first playoff game.

Don't worry. Marvin Lewis will right that ship. :funny:

Haha... Robert Kraft's speech was awesome...

Are they actually keeping him? I assumed he was fired.
Nope. His contract lasts through the 2017 season, but he is optimistic he and Mike Brown will work out an extension.

He's here until he retires.

Tom Brady will now attempt to win Super Bowl rings on both hands. He's already halfway there.

Sorry Boom. That has to be a special kind of sports torture.

I just moved to Atlanta so I hopped on the bandwagon very recently, but dang that hurt. Super embarrassing.

Ah well, I'm an Auburn fan so I'm used to losing at this point.

Why do good things happen to bad people?

Honest question because I don't really pay attention to the NFL, can someone explain to me why everyone hates Roger Goodell?

At the time of the booing I imagine only Patriots fans were left...last year the NFL led by the Commissioner fined the Pats and suspended Tom Brady for cheating on less that certain evidence. The beginning of the season saw Brady sit out four games

Ah thanks for the details, I knew about deflategate but didn't know the aforementioned ire came from Patriot's fans.

Well, I guess that cements Brady's legacy as the GOAT. What a ****ing game man. 28-3 and the Pats just kept fighting. Could be recency bias, but that was probably the best superbowl ever imo.

It'll be an interesting photo op at the White House visit for New England.
