Tom Brady already has that wrapped up. Rodgers, IMO, would need to win at least 3 more Super Bowl's(if Brady doesn't win his 5th) or do something that not even Tom Brady has done and win 3 straight SB's. I like Rodgers and he's going to be in the conversation for top 5 greatest QB's before it's all said and done, but he's nowhere near GOAT status.
I'd say coaches have a bit to do with this.

That sideline catch by Cobb was a thing of beauty

Was that even up for debate?

4 Super Bowls

no losses

its not even a debate

Then what about Terry Bradshaw? 4-0 in his Super Bowls.

I'd say coaches have a bit to do with this.

Coaches have a lot to do with it. The GOAT conversation can last forever and I don't think there's any wrong answer as long as there's a good argument for that person. Some people have different views and opinions. Some think Brady is GOAT, others Montana. I've even seen Manning's name come up, Starr and even Elway. It's a never ending debate when it comes to stuff like this.

Mayday! Mayday! We're going down!

That fluke interception will do nothing to change the outcome either. Green Bay, quite simply, has Dallas's number. What it comes down to is this: Dallas needs a new coach. Garrett is in so far over his head in a game like this. And yes, it may seem irrational to say a guy who just won 13 games ought to be fired, but let's not forget he won all of four games last season and is playing a schedule designed for a team with the fourth overall draft pick. Dallas has a better record than they are as a team, and frankly, they should be as good, if not better, than their record indicates. Dallas has the best o-line in the league, one of the best receive squads and a good defense. This team should be firing on all cylinders right now. And they aren't because a superior coach has Garrett figured out and is limiting Alex Smith 2.0 Dak Prescott and controlling the tempo and time of the game so Dallas can't rely on that beast O-line and Ezekiel Elliot to bail them out with a running attack. Plus, 13 win season or not, this is a guy who has 2 winning seasons in a seven year HC career. That is Jim Caldwell pathetic.

But, it won't happen, because Jerr'uh Jones wants a yes-man, who lets Jerr'uh control every aspect of the football team (even though he has no business doing so) and never gives him any push back over Jones's baffling personnel moves. So, Garrett will stay in Dallas, until 2020 at the earliest and Dallas will continue to be a mediocre team that should be contending.

Amazing thats Wittens 1st playoff TD

To underline just how badly Garrett is being out coached, even with a scoring drive, Dallas played right into Green Bay's hands. Green Bay gave Dallas the middle of the field and allowed them to take a good 5 or 6 minutes off the clock in a game where Dallas is down by 15 points. There was no urgency, no no huddle. Then it cuts to Jerr'uh in his box, dancing around after the TD, completely oblivious to the fact that Dallas first touched the ball in the second half behind by 15, and did not change that until 2 minutes into the fourth quarter.

McCarthy knows he isn't going to stop Dallas's offense entirely. So he did next best thing, he let Dallas run down the clock for him. :funny:

Also, to underline how inept Dallas is as a franchise; Jason Witten, a 14 year veteran, career long Cowboy and future Hall of Famer just scored his first post season touchdown of his career. It's sad Dallas did not give him many opportunities to do so much sooner.

Downside of being on one of the worst run franchises in the league. This is also Sean Lee's first career post season game. It's amazing how badly Jones has squandered so much elite talent. Imagine what Belichick would be doing with some of these Dallas players.

Didn't the Packers blow it 2 years ago against Seattle much like this?

5 of McCarthy's 7 playoff losses have come on the last play of the game.

Atlanta is going to have a field day against either of these teams.

Have they shown Jerry at all ?

Bullsh**! He gets one touch!

I don't think the ball was even a little bit catchable. It was a good ten yards ahead of the receiver when it was picked. There is no way that some arm entanglement 20 yards away from where the ball landed kept the receiver from making the catch.
