Looking to add some fresh blood (yum!) to the Marvel 2099 RPG.
The world of the future is still in it's infancy, so there's a ****load of characters left to pick from. Create a future version of a Marvel character and join in the fun.
Be a hero and battle the world's evils and the twisted Corporations that run the globe. Or, be a villain and join up with Corps or hatch your own nefarious plots of conquest and mayhem.
The majority of the meta-humans have died, either do to old age, or the Great Cataclysm, a massive even which claimed the lives of millions and paved the way for the Corps to take control over a struggling planet.
Only a few of the Corporations have been touched on. Alchemax runs the Northeast portion of the US as well as parts of neighboring Canada. Stark Enterprises rules over LA and most of the West coast. TRXTR Universal controls the Scandinavian peninsula with an iron fist.
Other then that, the rest of the world remains relatively untouched.
Here a small list of characters still untouched that have yet to make an appearance and are just waiting for a poster to adopt them...
Venom
Wasp
Electro
Red Skull
Ultron
The Fantastic Four
The X-Men
Magneto
Silver Surfer
The Hulk
Mandarin
Sabretooth
Moon Knight
Doctor Octopus
The Sub-Mariner
Ghost Rider
Dr. Strange
Black Panther
The Absorbing Man
Bullseye
Hercules
The Inhumans
Mysterio
Purple Man
Iron Fist
And just because the character was a hero in the Age of Heroes, doesn't mean that their future namesake has to be too. If you want to make a new Captain Marvel, but make him a psychopathic villain, go for it. These are pretty much created characters. The only stipulation is that they have to be a future version of a standard Marvel character.
And, if a character you wish to play had a future version of them appear in the old 2099 comics, you don't have to use that same blueprint if you don't want to.
If you want to make your Ghost Rider different from his old 2099 comic counterpart, go for it.
You could even play a future version of an existing MU character that could have conceivably survived to the year 2099, such as Wolverine.
A lot of possibilities for those with creative minds in a relatively untouched RPG setting. So, come on down and sign up today and join the fight to save the future. Or, if you prefer, destroy it.
