Also, it looks 10,000 times better than the DOTD remake.

Watched that last night. What a pile of crap.

But yeah. I with they would have left 28 Days Later as a solo film. I hope they keep this gritty. Looks decent. But I doubt it will be as good as the first.

At this point, who knows?
But I do love what I see so far, and I hope it's great.
'28 days later' is one of my most favorite movies ever.

Edit: I actually really like the Dawn remake, I meant this looked better than the Day remake :O

i loved 28 days later, not really a fan of zombie of horror films but it was jsut all kinds of awsome:D

watched it lastnight infact, along with Shaun of the Dead, as a sort of halloween thing. even though it's one of the most watched movies in my collection it's still bloody fantastic:D

i hope this is as good. Robert Carlyle, brillaint:D

Cool. Why were you against it Gammy?

It seemed likea bad idea to me at the moment, and I love 28DL so much, that I thought this was just going to ruin it.

But like I said before, the early footage looks really good, and it's got at least a couple of actors I really like, so I hope it's great.

ohh yeah I see what you are saying.. Sometimes sequels can ruin a good first film. Not always but sometimes.

Looks pretty decent so far. I dind't think a sequel was warrented, but I hope I am surprised.

Plus, you can never go wrong with Robert Carlyle.

Robert Carlyle is a good actor but most of those shots look like a rehash from the first film "Ooooooo no ones about" been done!!!

I`ll rent it when it comes out on dvd

So far, so good! I love 28 Days Later, can't wait to check out this sequel in theatres.

Is Cillian Murphy gonna be in this?

Nope. No one from the first film will appear in the sequel. However Naomie Harris was asked about it when doing press for Miami Vice if she was going to come back as Selena and she said she didn't know, but was open to the idea of doing a sequel if they asked her to come back (this isn't the exact words she said, but it was around those lines).

Fox Atomic has also made available a bit more footage from the offical 28 Weeks Later trailer on their official website. The scene where Robert Cartyle is running away from a crowd of the Infected is also in the trailer, although there have been some new scenes as well. There are also scenes of the U.S. army is bombing some areas of the UK (probably to eliminate the traces of the virus), a man pushing a dead car through a dusty street with his shirt pulled up over his nose and mouth, the two kids in the car covering their mouths as well and a few other split-second glimpses.

And judging by the new footage, I think that the new way how the virus spreads is by air (could be something else, so I don't think it's a spoiler yet) because the kids in the car are masking their mouths and noses. So it could've evolved from blood containmination to airborne virus... which logically makes it much more urgent. A logical explanation for the virus running rampant again, in my opinion.

I also like the way how the sequel is shot, in actual 35mm film in the wider 2.40:1 ratio. I like the first film and know it was trying to be documentary-like, but to be frank it looked like crap. The sequel looks much more slicker and refined, while still conveying the "you-are-there" mentality of the first.

I'm really looking forward to this. I loved 28 Days Later. It's too bad that Cillian Murphy and Naomie Harris aren't in it, because I thought they did a really great job.

Still, I will definitely go see it when it comes out.
