It can't be avoided.

Most Marvel, and DC, heroes are unknown to the public. They have no clue about their origins at all.

It makes sense to me that they start with origins. That way no-one in the public would be confused by it.

I think the Justice League is a bit better known then most Marvel superheros. What do you have in the Justice League ? Batman, Robin, Superman. Enough said. Name reconition right there. Others can just be thrown in. No origin needed. People have complained that they rush superherhero movies. They try to pack too much into the 1st film. Marvel is taking a slow approach. 1 movie on the origin of Stark/IRONMAN. Fav has said they will get into Stark's drinking problems, and other things in sequels, if there are more. Great move by Marvel. They have learned from Fox's mistakes. Justice League is way up in the air. The writers strike put a crimp in WB's plans. The cast has gone on to do other things so it may not even start till 2010, or they could go the solo frachise route, so don't count on seeing JL for a while.

I think they should go with the solo movies just like Marvel. I mean it has been very successful for Marvel so far they are practically rolling in the dough and will be even more after Iron Man and Hulk comes out.

Yep. Marvel is on the way up now that they are turning out their own movies. IRONMAN, and HULK are just the beginning for Marvel. Hopefully they can wrest FF away from Fox, and do a relaunch. (keeps fingers crossed).

Technically they are. It'll just be about the origin of the team.

Wally West is supposed to be the torchbearer to a dead Barry in it so they can show his origin if they go that route.

They can even have the characters talk about their origins in it.

I'd prefer solo movies first but since they're going ahead with JL we'll see if they mention the origins once it's made.

It would be simple for them to give casual explanations for J'onn, Green Lantern or WW in the film if they have enough time. It just depends on what's in the script.

Since they're making a new draft we'll have to wait until more information is released to the press on which direction they'll take it.

That's what they're saying supposedly.

Makes sense with the CGI quality to the rest of the film. Looking at the scenes in the first trailer at the end with him flying, the CGI is waaay better than that tank scene.

It's the only explanation. It does not fit with the rest of what we have seen. It has to be a VR simulation for Stark to practice with. It's all CG and it does not fit. It sticks out like a sore thumb. Why they put it in there I have no idea, unless it was just showing some action, or a part of what IM can do.

Glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. The fox FF is garbage.

But I don't know how much faith to have in Marvel, they seem to be taking just as much liberties with the characters as other production companies, if you look at the Abomination... But there is still lots left to learn about how that movie will turn out.

This new IM trailer sounds fantastic, and I'm glad people's worries about the tank scene will be laid to rest... I still think it looked awesome.

Peter Cuneo during this mornings press conference mentioned the second Iron Man trailer is ready or coming, and the first Hulk trailer will hit theatres in early March (10,000 BC?).

Isn't that line a little reminiscent of "Anyone man who run's around dressed as a bat clearly has issues."

I don't know, I have that feeling whenever I hear Iron Man's line.

I like this description of the trailer. This should truly convince us that it's made with respect.
