Yeah maybe.
How old are you?t:
Oh?
Well, Sweden is kinda like a non-English-speaking-Canada, I've heard my mom say (she's been in Canada a little).

Not all shows. I've been watching The Avengers; Earth's Mightiest Heroes on Netflix, and I really like it. Just wish it wasn't cancelled like Spectacular Spider-man :/
Ultimate Spider-Man is the best Spider-Man show on TV. It successfully captures the essence of Spider-Man and pulls it off in a great way that appeals to kids and adults, fans and first timers.
11/10.

5 is too generous. Try a 3.2/10
I was kidding, by the way. I give Ultimate Spider-Man a 5/10.
Spectacular Spider-Man is better and shouldn't have been replaced by that ****.

I figured
I've been watching season two and doing an episode by episode review in the USM thread. I've been busy lately and haven't had time to watch some more but I'll pick it up again soon. The show does have some cool moments. The problem is, those moments are few and far between. You have to dig through a lotta garbage to get to them and when you finally get something worthwhile, it gets covered up by garbage only seconds afterwards.

I'm 22. Older than you all but at least I'm old enoughld razz:
I've been to Canada as well. I feel like it's pretty much the same as the United States, except people are on the friendlier side.
I still want to go up to Norway and Sweden someday just to say I've been there, but sometimes I can't even handle the winter here.
I know, right? A lot of the better episodes could be improved if they took away stupid stuff like the little chibi Spider-Men and the cutaways and didn't have Spidey break the 4th wall all the time.
One of the episodes I truly enjoy is the Rise of Goblin (parts 1 and 2). I feel they are on par with SSM's worst episode.![]()
Hah, okay.
Yeah, Sweden isn't exactly sunshine and roses.
Let's just say we're on the same latitude as Alaska.

I enjoyed both the Goblin episodes as well and are the best ones of the first season. I'm only 6 episodes into the 2nd season but I also enjoyed "Freaky" and "Kraven." Otherwise, most of the other episodes are complete throwaways. The S6 episode started off good and then went on a downward spiral I can't even express. So disappointing. I like the villain Beetle. His episode would have been better if Spidey wasn't being such a complete dumba**. I was rooting for Beetle to win. lol.
Yeah, Spidey was pretty stupid in that episode.Yeah, Spidey was pretty stupid in that episode.
The only thing I dislike about the show is it gives us some kind of idea of how Marvel might handle Spidey if they had the rights... it's unsettling.
Any great writers you know who are big comic book fans even fans of the wall crawler?Sony just need to go back to how they did things back in Spider-Man 2's production, hire good writers who are passionate or have some kind of idea of what Spider-Man is, a director who is interested in the character and great actors.
I hope they do make him a kid.
Over the movies we could see him go from teen, to college student to adult. If they hire a young enough actor, they could adapt Spider-Man perfectly.
I should rephrase that "good writers who have some kind of idea what they're doing and a director who likes the character".
They're not gonna be good guys, they're going to find a way to make the audience root for them. Good guys is just ridiculous, especially if they're going to fight Spider-Man.
Funny, because Spider-Man is an adult even after OMD/BND/OMIT... he got a great job at Horizon, he owns his own business now. Doesn't get more adult than that.
It's impossible to go "Smallville" with Spider-Man. He gained his powers at adolescence, that was what drew readers into Spidey's world in the first place. Making Spider-Man start out as a teen does not hurt or ruin the character.
Ah, okay. But how do you suppose they'll make the audience root for them? Do you believe they'll have some short stories or in this case a web series leading up to the movie?
