Right now, I think it's an okay movie. Good performances all around, great VFX but bad writing and a jumbled plot.

I just hope TASM 3 does well. You know what I want in the third movie?

-Peter treating aunt may well

-Peter muckraking oscorp

-Peter struggling With daily life

-well written villains

-extended fight scenes

-well written and well tight plot and story

-a few cameos that don't feel forced

-the daily bugle

-everybody in the bugle having character

-someone else playing Jameson(at this point if they can't rehire Jameson they might as well hire Hugh Laurie as the guy)

-uncle ben being meaningful as Gwen and george and his parents

so airnick posted a link stating that venom will be released in 2017 with alex kurtzman directing it and ed soloman, david michiliene, and todd mcfarlane writing it................you know this is really screwed up here. if sony really wanted to keep the rights why are they releasing spin-offs before the third movie especially with ed soloman and todd mcfarlane as the writers since they are ****ing horrible as is kurtzman. for a company that badly wants to keep the rights they really don't show signs of caring for their company. hell, this doesn't seem like it's being faithful to the source material. any thoughts on that guys? i for one hope it isn't true because i haven't found enough articles on the movie. it might as well as be false information.
