I can sympathize with you there. I don't treat the raimi films like some godsend but they were just damn good.

I hope Sony decides to give Webb some freedom so he can make his last great spiderman movie with garfield

Yeah, though if they meddle with the sinister six theyre over bit I hope they don't because one article pointed out that it seemed that Goddard has freedom while another article stated that Sony has full trust on Goddard. All I can say is that I'll believe it when I see it. But anyway I hope Webb gets some freedom. I really want him to make a great spiderman movie and I really hope we get some new writers who are considered very talented and are big fans of the comics and spiderman but mostly great writers from shows and movies that everybody loves or they could get drew Goddard to write the third movie.

all thanks to sony's meddling with the films. this is what happens when you **** up a creator's work-_-. hell, the comics are even meh with slott's holes in the story and that ****** USM show. i hope that webb gets creative freedom and we get a great writer helping him out and i hope for some upcoming graphic novels and mini series with the web head like hopefully either matt fraction or cullen bunn is writing for the books

I was watching Carrie (2013 remake) and I noticed something...

That movie and Chronicle are so freaking similar.

Except there's no DeHaan in Carrie.

Literally the only major difference...

Seriously:

1- Troubled and abused teenager gains telekinetic powers
2- Goes insane after one unfortunate incident (Pig's blood at Prom/Father blaming him for something)
3- Goes on a killing spree while blood soaked
4- Killed by friend

It's like... they made Carrie but decided to change a few things.

EDIT: Somebody on another site brought this up; Alex Russell, who plays Matt in Chronicle, played Carrie's boyfriend in the 2013 remake.

Well, he was hilarious. I'm not sure if he was just trolling or if he was serious with his posts. There were even GIFs of him. He was kinda famous.

The only thing I specifically remember him saying, was something about Electro's eyes being red. He kept going on about it all the time. I don't even really remember what else he'd say, but it was comedy *****ing gold.
