My Skins fell on Monday, and my Nats had their season end on Tuesday.

Too soon, man. Too soon...

Yeah, it sucks man. When is RGIII supposed to return?

All I know is my Giants got a huge game against the Eagles this week, and the cowboys right after that. Two huge games.

Why did you use a lower case 'c' for the Cowboys??!! I see how it is...:cmad:

Yeah, it sucks man. When is RGIII supposed to return?

He was supposed to be good to go by October 27th, but Gruden recently came out and said he isn't going to be playing anytime soon.

A reporter last week asked him if RG3's return to practice means anything, and he responded, "No, it's just he's making progress."

In other words, let the QB controversy begin.

Cousins is at least a worthy back-up in the sense that he's probably good enough to start for some teams. He may win you some games.

I hate the cowboys so much, I wasn't gonna be bothered to go back and fix it!

You should just be happy I didn't say "cowgirls" :o

That's pretty tough talk coming from a Gnats fan. Don't you fret, we'll deal with you soon enough.

He's proven to win a couple games, and almost win a lot more.

With that being said, the Skins should be able to put up a good fight against a wounded Arizona team.

Poking in here again, 1st issue of the comic I draw was put up yesterday- happy people have been responding well to it so far and it's really nice to see them get what we're going for.

I think most superhero comics these days try too hard to be like the movies and visually over-complicate as well as tonally try too hard. One of the reasons there's this growing rift for me with Marvel comics these days personally is that overly editorial influence driven by that be like the movies mentality and big hallow events to sell the books rather than natural smaller stuff which just doesn't sell as big, sadly.

That's my little rant about the state of the industry, or really Marvel as a whole right now. It's what makes doing work like this feel so liberating for me.

Give the book a read, it's breezy and fun. Wooo.

Just read it, Spidey! Great work!

I love the art. Especially the smudge marks (if that's what you call them) that you use to illustrate Nolan's speed.

You have some talent for sure. Keep it up

Thanks, hope to have the next one done before the end of the year! I experimented with gray tones using India ink, glad you dig how that stuff turned out. :yay:

No problem.

I'm efinitely looking forward to the next issue :)

I'll read it once I get home, on the train right now

That was good! :) You're great at drawing. You can tell the heavy Spider-Man influence, not sure what I think of that yet. I'll gladly keep reading these.

I liked it :) Nice, brief origin story, and I ice way to make the ending satisfying and make me want to stick around.

I'm sick to death with this thing ASM2 fanatics have been saying - "why does ASM get bashed for world building but Iron Man 2 isn't?..." Um, no offence, but have you been under a rock? Iron Man 2 was critiqued to death, and although it wasn't as badly received as Iron Man 2, not many people liked it. Iron Man 2 was better written, also.

No offense, but are you living under a rock? Nobody has said that but you came here anyway to rant about something that people aren't even talking about.

We are past that. If you don't like the movie, that's cool, nobody cares. Just move on to other things.

Andrew - did I ever, ever say I didn't like ASM2 in my post? I don't think so. I drew comparisons towards Iron Man 2, which, IMHO, was better written - doesn't mean I don't like both, because I do - and despite my issues with ASM2's writing, I love it a lot because it's entertaining.

"Nobody Cares" <<< If nobody cares, then why is this site up, anyways? Do people only care about your opinion, nowadays? O_o

Then why come here just to rant? Nobody has said anything about IM2. You keep saying countless times that only fanboys love the movie.

Yeah, if you want to post your "review", there's a thread for that, or if you simply want to join the bandwagon, there's the General Discussion for that, but don't put words on people mouth.

I'm not even going to continue this, my Friday needs to be preserved.

I'm not joining any bandwagons, and, heck, that's what generally got me into typing what I typed in the first place - you disregarded my opinion, yeah, there's a review thread, but A) Mine isn't a review and B) There's threads for everything, but isn't this specific thread for generally anything? I guess we shouldn't discuss anything here because they're places for every single topic? O_o

You're putting too much weight into the argument - this is nothing personal, enjoy your Friday - it's cool.
