Alien Isolation wasn't well received? Waaaat? It has 80% of Critic Reviews on Metacritc and 8.3 of user score. The game is fresh. Can't wait.

Shadow of Mordor is okay. The gameplay is just sooo repetitive with those QTE's.

I love it a lot - I'm early into it, it's repetitive, but the feeling's awesome.

Just Skyrim, which was great but not great as Dragon Age

Well, their games are critically acclaimed

I do love Skyrim, but it's story isn't that engaging so I don't consider it better than Dragon Age or Mass Effect, both games that have a epic level of storytelling and scale.

Skyrim mythology is HUGE, Intriguing and satisfying . The game is all sorts of awesomeness. This is coming from a guy who isn't that addicted to RPGs.

Inquisition tho...

There isn't a specific canon. There's your own canon if you played the first two games. You make choices that have an impact on the story and ending, your choices get imported for the next game while creating unique combinations and possibilities.

You are going to get Bioware canon for Inquisition. They are probably going to explain what's happening for the newbs during the opening.

I would heavily recommend for you to play the first game (Epic) and import your decisions to the second (Okay).

It's the same thing with Mass Effect. Bioware pedigree.

No problem

There will be a system integrated with the game where you can mold your own save file by quickly selecting the decisions you have made during the past two games. It might be a easier way if you know something about the key choices for the past games, if you are interested of course.
