Nah man, it was awesome.

On another note, the biggest holy s*** moment was when [BLACKOUT]Dr.Mann blows up. [/BLACKOUT]

Yeah, that came straight out of left field for sure.

I just can't remember the last time I saw a movie with so many climactic moments. For example, when they first make contact with the black hole, how cool was that? I must have looked like this :wow: during at least half of the movie.

I feel a bit late to the party on this, but have you seen those Robot Chicken sketches where Bane keeps breaking Batman's back? I laughed at that more than I think I should have. "Rule of three, not four *******!!!!"

So bascily we can never send a link to any thing then?
If it's not something officially released, then no, one can't share the link, and is not allowed to do so.
If the thing is from the official project site, then it's no problem to share it.

I did that the other day. I love Star Wars. 1 and 2 arent the greatest, but I sort of have a fondness for them. Big part of my childhood. I remember being really small when 1 came out and I used to get the light saber spoons out of my cereal. If anything, Obi Wan is worth watching in those movies if you cant find any other reason to watch them. People sh** on theose movies for using to much greenscreen but I watched a behind the scenes, and its actually wayyy less then people think. That being said, I prefer the original trilogy by a lanslide although Revenge of the Sith is on par imo. Almost at least.

SW was my childhood, especially the prequels. They're just not that good, but I'll remember them for nostalgic reasons.

That sequence was glorious! :hubba

Dude, did you get the trailer for Exodus? I'm so looking forward to it, especially after seeing the trailer on the big screen.

It was very intense, man.

Yes! That's a movie I bookmarked after seeing the trailer as well. Also, even though I had seen the AoU trailer a million times already, seeing it onscreen got me pumped even more :woot:

I'm trying to remember what other good trailers I saw.

I'm making a pledge to myself that I will not watch the AoU trailer again until the day before it's out, and I will not watch a single clip from it. Did the same thing for TASM2, TWS and GoTG, and it actually increased my enjoyment for each film.

I would do that if I could, but I don't know how I would manage to pull it off. It would be twice as hard if some kind of news broke on the boards and everyone would be talking about it.

Major props to you for going through with that.

Nightcrawler was a solid movie. Watched Interstellar and Nightcrawler back to back last night at the theatre. The latter was definitely the better movie, IMO.

It's been awhile since I had a back to back night at the movies.

What were your criticisms of Interstellar?

It's tough for sure. By the way, I'm curious; What exactly lead to the Raimi v. Webb discussions being off topic? Was there some incident?

Months ago things got heated when debating the two, which ended up leading to the ASM2 General Discussion thread being locked.

I think that's how it started, I could be wrong though haha.

People just need to chill out around here.

I'm guessing it's along the lines of what Airnick said.

I may not have been here when the rule was put in effect, however, I do know that Raimi/Webb comparisons are highly frowned upon. It's probably better if you avoid them at all costs.

If you want to discuss them, then maybe do it through a PM or another outlet. The whole idea is to avoid getting a large group of people involved in a heated debate. I think it's becoming quite evident how divided the Spidey boards are.

Definitely. Debate and a little bit of divisiveness are great, but when it gets needlessly heated and there's name-calling, that's when everything's stupid. I'm sure there's someone out there who hates Days of Future Past but loves The Last Stand, doesn't mean I'm gonna call them an idiot.... not to their face at least...

Breaking News: Eminem threatens to punch Lana Del Rey in the face in a song. This leads to the inevitable outrage and debate over what is clearly a troll, and fervent fans of his defending him BECAUSE it's a troll, and everyone forgetting what a waste of time talking about Eminem is. I've never been a fan, and even most of his fanbase thinks he's been treading water since 2004.
