30 Rock

Wow, just 13? Isn't that short? I'm already looking forward to Fey's next venture.

Yes. But 13 episodes means that we don't have to have like 6 new episodes, a month break, followed by another 4 episodes followed by another break of re-runs. It would be nothing but new episodes.

With Whitney likely to be canceled, I wonder if there will be a storyline next season where Jonathan tries to get his job back as Jack's assistant.

I dunno, Whitney's ratings aren't terrible and the show looks dirt cheap to make. The only thing that is really going against Whitney is how wretched it is.

I am actually glad to hear it. The show is still good but it is starting to show signs of aging. Let it go out on top. I am glad Fey isn't dragging it out like NBC is with The Office.

It's definitely recieving the fate that I wish The Office had when Carrell announced that it would be his final year. Should've ended with Michael.

It has been great having this season run 22 episodes in 20 weeks. NBC could have 12 comedies (6 returning, 6 new) next season airing at least 13 episodes with Community, Parks and Rec, 30 Rock and The Office all ending.

Knowing that they have 13 episodes will allow them to bring back their favourite guest stars, bring in those they've always wanted and leave on a some what high note. They did lose a lot of writers who have been with the show for most of its run, they've gone onto new development deals. Hopefully it doesn't have that much of an impact on the show.

So Tracy's Role model is going to be Tyler Perry. I am betting this will lead to a Perry appearance next season, interacting with Tracy.

And will Liz live happily ever after with Criss?

I'm not like Liz, I bailed on Smash. Happy to see Criss and Liz will be sticking together with the possibility of a baby and not Planty.

Elizabeth Banks was SMOKING HOT on the finale episode. HUBBA-HUBBA

Awww I didn't know it's the final season. Season 6 was 10x better than 4 and 5 combined. Seriously

I'm good with it being the final season. Plus, it's great that it's going into this one knowing it is the last, rather than the plug being pulled unexpectedly. 30 Rock never seemed to be in as much danger, as, say, Scrubs was every year it was on NBC, but I am surprised it had such a long, healthy run. And really glad it has.

I wonder if they'll mention his moms age since Kenneth is supposedly ageless lol

I like Liz and Criss together. James Marsden has this child like quality that is just such a perfect fit for her. I liked Matt Damon too but Marsden just has something that fits perfectly. The episode Dennis was in this past year had some awesome interaction between him and Criss as well

That was the best ep of 30 Rock that I have seen in a while.

You must have missed the Leap Day episode and Liz as The Joker.

Last season was not that good. Tina was preggers so they tried to hide that with oddly frumpy clothing, Jonathan was gone, a lot of the eps were slow, the writing seemed not as snappy, they brought in Hazel...the show just didn't seem like it's old self.

Last night though...wonderful. Good start for the final season.
