30 Rock

AD >>>>>> All.

But I definitely prefer 30 Rock over It's Always Sunny.

It's Always Sunny is pretty much just a live action South Park these days. It's less about actually being funny, and more about just being as outrageous as they possibly can be.

30 Rock is just legit hilarious.

I think the reason it took me so long to fall in love with the show is because it was always winning awards over shows I already loved. Now that honor belongs to Modern Family, which genuinely doesn't hold a candle to alot of these other shows, as much as I like it.

Agreed. I do enjoy Modern Family quite a bit, but it has definitely become over-rated by the awards circuit. While Parks & Rec remains severely underrated, imo.

A big part of me coming around to team 30 Rock.

I needa get into Modern Family. I've honestly never seen a single episode

It's got it's share of clever/cute moments, but if you're looking for mindblowingly great comedy writing, I really don't think MF is the place to find it.

I really think the only reason it's so praised is because for a long time, the family sitcom genre was just pure crap, and MF made it decent again. Otherwise it pales in compairison to some comedies that we've gotten over the past decade.

I feel depressed that I've only really gotten into this show so close to the finish line. This feels like Buffy all over again... :csad:

At least I can take comfort in the fact that Tina Fey signed a development deal with Universal TV, so there's hope for more of her writing on TV in the future.

This show is one of my faves too. I also didn't get into it until about two seasons ago at the end but it is just awesome.

I love this show and I'm gonna miss it. :(

Tracy's movie was better than anything Tyler Perry's ever done. :o

Dennis Duffy: Airgo, Ben Affleck is finally winning that Oscar.

Man is Jenna going to be furious in the next episode.

I didn't watch live and Xfinity has yet to put up the episode. God help me, if I don't watch it soon, I will nerd rage. :cmad:

"My boyfriend was supposed to pick me up after that shoot. So I called him and I was like 'OJ, where are you?' and he was like 'Wait, you're alive? Then who did I kill?'"

Oh Jenna :lmao:

I just read that that was Fey's daughter as young Liz doing the eyeroll. :funny:

She said "I want to go to there," when Tina was looking at the Disney World website and it made it into the show, along with a lot of other lines.

apparently, a lot of Tracy's more nonsensical lines actually came from her daughter.

The one hour series finale will air January 31st, 2013.

Jack Donaghy giving a eulogy is the greatest thing ever.

Jack: Thank you Kermit, for explaining the afterlife to us.

Kermit: No, thank you, Jack, for being the man we all aspire to be.

:lmao:

I liked how Hazel was recast. Also liked that they showed yet another side to Dot Com.

Saw the pilot and I remember Tracy have five bodyguards, but they were smart to shed it to two, Grizz and Dot Com. However, throughout the years, Grizz and Dot Com have become less menacing, but it works to the advantage of the show.
