It wouldn't suck if Mysterio was the 4th villain, but I wouldn't like it because how are they going to explain that they want to use him as a main villain in a future Spidey flick if they use him now and make him disappear.

true....but he's a small role-playing villain...

I think they'll fit it in nicely getting action in right off the bat since the storyline is already pretty much in place..

did you read what you quoted from me? because this has nothing to do with what i was talking about.

someone said they want to see the spider-man story from beginning to end. but there is no definitive end to it as of now. yes, we have tons of villians and story arcs that could be put on screen, but do we have an ending? no. we have decades of comics with no end. so i don't see how the spider-man movies can be compared to the star wars films in that way.

just throwing this out there...the first starwars trilogy (A New Hope, etc.) doesn't really have a definite ending either...you can easliy continue from where Return of the Jedi left off.

ehhh...not so easily. sure, you can find stories with the characters. but the main conflict that existed in all 3 stories is gone, with Darth Vader becoming good and dying. i'd say that's a pretty solid ending/resolution to the saga.
